Suburban Mom wrote: Shane - you must really be in sad financial shape if you need to steal an area rug. Shane didn't steal a rug. He paid for one. Just not the one he bought! I wonder what happened at the OTHER customer's house -- the one who paid more, got less?

Laurie B wrote: Nice!!! Ordered a house full of furniture - only got 1/2. Was informed by company today that they filed for chapter 11. I knew something was up when they delayed my delivery 6 times. Some of what I got was damaged. Who do I see about that?????????? All Wickes furniture within 1 year manufacture warranty, you need to call Wickes and get there contact info (make sure you get a direct contact at the manufacture who is dealing with these claims). If you purchased an extended warranty, you can contact FOUR WARRANTY 800.867.2216 after the one year. If you call Wickes, expect a 20+ minute hold time. I ordered a dinette and buffet set from Wickes in October 2007. Long story short: I need to reorder two of the glass doors for the buffet because we broke them. Wickes told me to call a company called Chintalty Imports to reorder, and the gentleman yelled at me and told me they don't deal with the public and Wickes was washing their hands. I called Wickes back (again) after being on hold for 25 minutes, I was given the same number but this time a direct contact at Chintaly Imports who should be able to help (she's out today).

Wickes has really screwed alot of customers, including us. We were waiting on backordered living room tables. We owed $100 due when it arrived. First when we inquired about them they told us it would be in in February, then after we paid the order total they told us it would be March. Then they called us and said it would be in in April. Then a few days ago they called and said they wouldn't be getting any in and we can have the floor model. Now when we went to go get them today, somebody gave away the end tables. They would not issue a refund, we couldn't pick any other tables, and they said they would only fulfill the outstanding order. What a nightmare. So now were stuck with a lonely coctail table. So if anyone is waiting on an order, good luck, cause you may be screwed and given the run around.

Do Shane wrote: Poor Wickes. Maybe it has to do with the $189.00 5'X8' rug I purchased in November, and the $499.00 rug they delivered. Their bad...my gain. Sorry I didn't speak up further. True story. I don't think you should advertise that you're a dishonest person and didn't speak up.. That's what's wrong with out world.

I purchased bedroom furniture on in July 2007 on my Wickes credit card in the amount of $1057.89 on the “no interest/payments till 10/15/2008”. later that evening my sales representative, Christy Fiore contacted me saying if I verbally authorized the purchase of the dining room & buffet set I was interested in Wickes would waive the $159.00 delievery charge, and my entire purchase would be financed under “no interest till 01/2012; equal monthly payments” for the TOTAL purchase amount. I agreed and purchased the dinette items the next day. The store never sent me a new purchasing contract.
My intial dispute with the delivery charge and incorrect financing plan was opened with [Wickes] Citibank Financial on 08/2007; the store denied my dispute. In 9/2007 I contacted Colleen Cuchetto (Schaumburg, IL) and she faxed me the new contract confirming the “no interest till 01/2012” on the entire purchase. She also verified the shipping charge would be removed from my account.
Here I am today faxing over the signed contract from Septemeber that still hasn't been applied to my account.
Great customer service...

wickes opened two stores in the las vegas area, knowing they would be closing. employees left other jobs at other furniture stores for the oportunity to work for wickes, not knowing they would be out of jobs, and theyre former employers are not taking them back. that hurts. shame on wickes.

How do we reach Wickes? I bought a sectional last July and was told if I bought the warranty that they would clean it whenever I wanted them to...long story short, that was not the case. But now the couch, that isn't even a year old is falling apart! Or how do I reach the warranty co.?
