Another boneheaded prosecution. Almost two years and they still couldn't put on a case? Leaks from the district attorney's office? This comes very close to official misconduct.

Money and drugs seems to do all the talking when it comes to criminal prosecutions. If they had just the drugs and not the money to back them up with, then they would have been in jail without too much fuss. The DA should be redfaced with what happened. Just as in any other federal government corporation, one hand doesn't seem to know what the other is doing. Just like any other government agency, they have too many egos and it always gets in their way.

Steroids over the internet? Not a good combination! The result, 1000's of young men jeopardizing their future health and decreasing their lifespans, while the unscupulous pushers make 10's of millions per year. Too bad the N.Y. incompetent D.A. couldn't get his act together. Too bad Florida D.A.'s are turning the other cheek.

Absolute waste of tax $$$! The prosecutors involved should be prosecuted. No one was harmed or defrauded by the alleged perpetrators. But the prosecutors ruined many a life!

Turning the other cheek?? They did not do anything illegal first of all.. It is only illegal in the state of NY to get scripts without "seeing" a Dr!

Really what a complete waste of money by the DA. I think sara is right, no laws were broken. A doctor wrote a script, a pharmacy filled it. Unless I missed something, I dont think its written anywhere that a doctor has to see a patient before he can write a prescription. It may be many things, but its not illegal.

Currently there is a bill before congress which its sittiong on called the Ryan Haight act, which woul;d make it illegal. Then the DA wouldnt have have to contort to build bogus cases.

The proper response would be for Orange County Sheriff's to jail the NY DA and any of the evil NY thug cops that came down here. We can't just go into their state and haul people away. They have zero jurisdiction here. All involved should be jailed for kidnapping. Unfortunately jack-booted government thugs are never held accountable. Maybe Signature can go after them in civil court.

There is a law against a Dr prescribing without examining a pt. ...but the pharmacy cannot and should not be held liable for that.
