It doesn't mean anything right now but most likely you won't see coverage expanded.
I don't know where you live but it takes alot to get an extension of service, FCC gets involved, right of ways, pole permits, passings (how many homes), can get 75% or more customers from the number of passings, then ot has to be built.

Not too many places that is cost effective to build anymore. Too many better choices out there than cable.

I haven't heard who bought them, that will also be a deciding factor for expansion. Is it a holding company that can just maintain it till it can be sold or sold off in chuncks or is it an existing cable company that wants to build something bigger and better?

The cable company changes hands about every 4 years or so. Probably just another POS company like we have now and the one before it and the one before it!

they didn't get "bought out" like in the past there will be no big changes in the way things are being done no massive builds no different company name this was an invesment exchange to a retirement firm in canada
