He stayed in the country--even with tons of cash? Also, if he was truly a "professional" gambler, he would have certainly known about the facial-recognition software every single casino on earth uses to identify their patrons. Even with a beard and no eyeglasses, the surveillance would have nailed him in just a few minutes, no problem at all. His name was in the system by being a fugitive, and the filthy, greedy casino gave him up when they realized who he was. Don't give any credit to the U.S. Marshalls, who lost this guy in the first place--those idiots probably had a difficult time finding San Diego going to arrest him.
This whole episode reminds me of "Keystone Cops".

I agree, but would add that they were aided and abetted by the Keystone Judge and Keystone Prosecutor. How could they have let a con man stay free and expect him to show up for his date with prison?

He actually was/is a professional gambler. He gambles with stolen money. He gambled on not being caught. He gambles with the hearts of women. He gambles on whether or not his long-suffering family will continue to back and support him.He once confided to me that if he were a woman, he'd rule the world with the scams he could pull off with a woman's assets. I'm just glad I called his hand, caught him bluffing, and ran like he**.

Who would dare spend others money so recklessly and with such abandonment...then again, perhaps just a microcosm of the Country's new attitude: all we need to do to cure our problems is spend, print money, spend, and spend... the "Change you were stupid enough to believe in..." "Yes you did"-now WE PAY!!! Something stinks in the White House-BO

What a jerk you are. Geddes in a con man who obtained money for his personal use through fraud, leaving his wife and children without a home or income, ending up on the run with another woman and finally caught in a gambling casino. And you compare this with the government's efforts to save businesses that employ Americans and to assist Americans who are struggling to meet their financial responsibilities in this horrible economy. I take back what I said - "jerk" is not a strong enough word, but if I use the right one the Park Record can't print it.

His wife was all over that money as well. They both spent tons of it even after their house was searched and he was indicted.
Last I heard they were starting a porn thing in Las Vegas and that went sour as well.
She's right in their with him and so far as I know still part of our community and up at Deer Valley. Keep that in mind before we cry for his family.

The money is going to the wealthiest of the wealthy so that they can continue to get their fat bonuses. We are witnessing the biggest wealth transfer in history. The middle class is being wiped out.

Actually, all kidding aside, the Marshal's did a pretty good job, catching him in a few months. Considering that he had millions in resources, connections, and months of planning time, it's a wonder he was found at all.
His arrogance, playing "catch me if you can", that was his biggest downfall. Well, that and the lure of the tables, the lifestyle, and the ladies.

Now if they could only get Mark Robbins, another of our local model citizens. I'm a little unsure of why he hasn't been found and arrested since fleeing Utah. He apparently was found in California, where wifey was served with a collection lawsuit for passing a bad $100,000 check. Not sure why doing that wouldn't also cause HER arrest.
In either case, yet another couple of bad Park City Apples. And surprise surprise, whe was one of the principals involved in the whole Canyons/Talikser/Vail shenanigans, and is co-owner of some expensive property in Mountain Ranch Estates that is in default.

A group of us kept our kids from Jeff and Jessica Geddes' daughter. Not that there was a problem with their daughter (nice girl), it's just not worth the risk. If the parents are ready to hurt you, one day the children may be too. There are too many honest people to loose time on others.

We just stay away from them. Don't know if Jessica is in trouble. I suspect she should be, but then again, her family is long standing LDS and has many community ties in and out of PC. They are not like her, but could easily forgive, which is something I can not feel angry about.

How sad that this is even a topic.

Is there any connection between Jeff Geddes, Kevin Geddes and gregg/gregory Geddes? If so, then it must run in the family. Kevin is the king of real estate scams from what I hear and Gregg/Gregory is currently being charged in Cache County with Fraud as well.I also heard that Gregg/Gregory is somehow connected to Bryan Hunsaker through a business called TTR HP Inc-Aero Exhaust-Aero Performance Products and Flo Co LLC. Any information would be appreciated.

Yes,they are brothers. And I checked court docs just to see what the dates of Jeff's last conviction/release dates were. According to U.S. vs. Geddes, it was January 28, 1998, the family website says he and his wife married in August 1998, she surely knew he had been in federal prison and on probation. His latest schemes, according to authorities, began in fall 2001. This is three years into their marriage and continued until this past November, wrapping up with his capture days ago.

I thought as much. Thank you for replying. It looks like several unhappy investors would like to track down Kevin as well. As far as Gregg-Gregory Geddes and Flo Co LLC, apparently Bryan Hunsaker the CEO of Aero Performance Products gave Flo Co LLC rights to *2.6 Billion shares of AERP.OB* for Flo Co and Gregg Geddes assuming TTR HP, Inc. debt. TTR HP, Inc does business as AERO EXHAUST and was/is a subsidiary of AERO Performance Products. Anywho~ the TTR HP~Aero Exhaust debt consists of Unpaid contracts and at least a few lawsuits which are pending including one filed by NASCAR. What is really strange is that I have read recently that Gregg~Gregory Geddes is himself currently in chapter 13 bankruptcy. I wonder if any of his creditors realize he now has his hands on 2.6 billion shares of a company. Strange doings *indeed*.Any additional info on Gregg~Gregory and a character named Shane Traveller would be appreciated!

I was raised in River Heights with all 3 of them. They have been scamming people for as long as I can remember. Started out small and has just got bigger and bigger. I feel for anyone who has gotten involved with any of them. From what I hear Kevin is now in Tennessee running his latest real estate scam. I wish people could be made more aware of these crooks.

After filing bankruptcy in California last year. And scamming a small fortune from investors. Kevin wasted no time starting his latest scam Nashville. Just a matter of time and all those unsuspecting people will wake up scammed. Somehow these people need to be stopped. http://www.geddesco.com/
