evidently it is a good idea for Dodd to show whether he was bought off after he gets the feds to bail out his friends at Countrywide. Is his picture in Webster next to the definition of "arrogant" ?

He used his elected position for personal gain. To me that is corruption and he should be at least censured (like is his Dad was). The benefits that the Dodds will be getting on these mortgages over the lift of the mortgages far exceed the value of Rowland's hot tub, kitchen cabinets, paved driveway ...etc.

The matter deserves the same scrutiny.

since Dodd wasn't the banking committee chairman when the mortgage was approved, he was in the minority.

There must be something embarrassing in it, while probably not illegal. If he was clean he would release it and get it over with and concentrate on passing the bill.

Anyone notice that the "Dodd loan details coming" was in the CT section, if our ex gov. had done that it would be on the front page.

If this guy wasn't from a prominant (althrouhgh crooked) political family, he'd be selling used cars. Which, I guess, is an insult to the used car dealers of America. How slimy can this guy be?
