The reason Orlando is slightly higher than the national rate is the fact that there is a huge Puerto Rican population in Orange County. Go to Osceola and Polk counties and the rate drops well below the national average.

As if this is news, don't we all know that
the hispanics have no interest in assimilating,
that is why they insist that WE must learn
Spanish and do things THEIR way. They, unlike
immigrants of prior generations, come to the
United States and do not learn English, do not
take advantage of the free education available,
flock together in criminal gangs and have
multiple illegitimate kids, everything just
like it's done "back home" - the place they
just HAD to leave. These ignorant low lifes
do not want to be Americans, they only desire
the freebies that living in America can get
them with the minimum effort put forth. It is
the liberal mindset of the past 40 years
promoting "diversity" instead of unification
which has lead us to this sad state of affairs.
Germans, Poles, Scandinavians, Italians - all
the other nationalities worked hard without
having everything translated into their native
tongues and succeeded, being proud to finally
become true Americans, hispanics will never become
more than transplanted Mexicans, Hondurans, etc
due to their own actions and the enabling by the
rest of us. Fifty more years and the US will just
be another 3rd world mongrel banana republic.

And this is why most Americans resent those who come here illegally and legally from other countries -- they don't even try to learn English and assimilate! Nobody expects anyone to give up their culture and heritage, but if you come to America, come legally, and come with the intent to be an AMERICAN FIRST -- or don't come. I'm tired of the hostile attitude from many Hispanics like they're owed something, especially the ones who come here illegally and freeload off the American taxpayer. Americans have always welcomes immigrants, legal ones and those who make America their new country...

Wrong We do expect them to give up their culture as two cultures don't co-exist. If you wanna be a mexican go to mexico duh.
