I have bought a bed from pure slumber and for the first time actually recieved what I intended to order. I have serious chemical sensitivity and had tried to buy a organic bed on several other occassions only to learn that it wasnt really organic. The pure slumber bed I ordered is the only good nights sleep i have had in years. I highly recommend them

I agree. For others out there that suffer from CFS/MCS, I highly recommend a bed from Pure Slumber (http://www.pureslumber.com )

do not order from this company. it is a scam and a lot of customers never get their bed. plus they are out of business

i payed for a very expensive and was coached by carol to tell me how happy i will be when i get my bed set..problem ..they never sent it..i have tryed to get my $2300.00 back and have not been successful..where is the integrity..i really needed my bed i have slept on a pull out sofa and have suffered back pain for 3 months due to pure slumbers deception..reorganization went to bankruptacy..they have hurt people any advice on recourse??? thanks

Jan...go to linksorganic and read what others have wrote. How did you pay? Did you cancel your credit card order?

call your credit card company and they should get your money back. if you paid by check you are likely skrewed. good luck.

btw, we ordered from pureslumber BEFORE they went bankrupt. we never got the correct bed...they kept sending us the wrong one and then the next wrong one etc. at least we ended up with A bed...not the right one...but we cant get our money back either. i caleld discover card TOO LATE...after 180 days they cant help you...i SHOULD have called them after we kept receiving the WRONG bed and then we would have got our money back and discover would go after pure slumber for reimbursement.

PURESLUMBER is the biggest rip-off company ever! I ordered a day bed a year ago and not only did the bed not come, I was billed twice for the same product! I harassed them morning, noon & night -- also, threatened to show-up there if necessary. I have never dealt with a bunch of unprofessional people but after a few choice words (which they didn't appreciate) FINALLY, a check in the mail!

I knew something was wrong after repeated delays in my bed order. I try in good faith to see the good in people and give them time to make it right. Well 8 months went by and still no bed. Finally had to call from out front of the court house in my home town and tell them I was about to walk in there and file charges unless I receive my refund. This was in 2005. I did not post anything on the net against them. I prayed to God that if these people were out to take anybody else please reveal their plan and let it be known.
By the posts I see here, looks a though God has taken care of this. Im so sorry for all who lost here.

pureslumber was orignially based out of Maine with Jamestown Mattress producing their mattresses.

the new companies are also based out of Maine with Jamestown mattresses. I've read several instances where they were going to open a new "storefront". Seems they've done just that.

The owner of www.naturalassleep.com and www.simplyorganicsleep.com is Leola Mcbreairty, who also goes by Leola Cochran... pureslumber was owned by Shawn Cochran. These two new companies were only started in early 2007. Less than one year. They have NO credentials.

After having back surgery, I bought a bed from Simplyorganicsleep. The bed has changed my life and I could not have been treated any better by their customer service team. Their product is simple but amazingly comfortable and very affordable. It is sad that competitors have to stoop to such low tactics to sell their products as to disguise themselves as unhappy customers to sabotage another good company. I would recommend simplyorganicsleep to anyone.

I was looking for an organic mattress and was in a difficult place financially. I cannot say enough how grateful I am to the staff of simplyorganicsleep. they guided me and helped me obtain a mattress that met my needs both financially and medically. the mattress took longer to get to me than I would have liked but it was worth the wait. the mattress is wonderful and I can finally sleep uniterrupted. you can tell talking to their staff they are concerned with meeting your needs. thank-you simplyorganicsleep.

I have been waiting for a year to find out where these crooks would show up next. Be VERY careful on what you believe. If they are former pureslumber owners they planted all kinds of positive comments on many different organic websites AND were affiliated with the BBB and yet ripped people off big time. I was one who fell for their sale of natural mattresses. I had to be my own detective to find out they went bankrupt , then had to get my credit card resolved. Luckily it did after 3 months of pure hell and almost a broken marriage. go to links organic and read about what horror companies can put people through. I finally found someone I could trust at tomorrow's world and no I don't work for them.

The other interesting thing is on both of these links to these new stores ...no where does it say WHO is running this operation. Just phone numbers and emails....well...when I got ripped off from pureslumber they shut down the phones and closed off their email. I was left in the dark. Shawn Cochran did have his name affiliated with that company. BE LEARY.

I was shocked to call both numbers above. They are the same company and CAROL was on the answering machine. CAROL was the one we all dealt with at pureslumber. Seems fishy to me and all too much of a coincidence.

Why did Nancy from Sarasota show up as coming from Hampden Maine if she is supposedly from Sarasota? Go on Zaba search and Leola is a relative of Shawn.
