Beware of savvyrest.com (savvy rest) Their product is crap. The cover feels like a burlap bag and the layers of latex are not covered so they rip EASILY. Their prices are steep and their customer service lacks, also. I've also been told by three other organic bed online stores that they own at least 2 other websites that rate organic mattresses. SURPRISE SURPRISE SURPRISE they recommend savvyrest.com (savvy rest)!!!!!! Don't fall for their misleading tactics and their expensive crap they call a mattress.

Dear Corey,

We were distressed to read your comments; it's remarkable to us that anyone would describe our products or us in this way. You'll understand that a company might wonder about such scathing remarks; with the advent of the Internet, a growing practice is that in addition to legitimate reviews, certain (fortunately few) companies will resort to anonymous blogs or forums in an effort to damage the competition.

Whoever told you that we own websites that rate mattresses of any kind was misinformed. We own several websites, but none of them rates mattresses.

The prices of our mattresses are very much in line with anyone selling organic mattresses through a national network of dealers. In fact, our organic mattresses are usually less expensive. We list our over 40 authorized distributors on our web site which you can find on this page:

The best way to understand how the materials feel is to request our free samples at info@savvyrest.com. Our natural latex is the finest quality produced anywhere, and comes in many combinations for customized firmness. The certified organic cotton fabric of the outer casing is soft to the touch, yet with a sturdy weave that makes it very durable. The organic wool fiber quilted inside the casing adds more comfort, and also prevents heat buildup.

As to service, our commitment to courteous, respectful and detailed customer service is serious and consistent. People who contact our customer service department come away feeling heard, respected, and valued. Our policy is openness, honesty, and respectful communication.

We have earned our reputation for integrity, courtesy, and superlative service, and we'd be happy to answer your questions at any time. We always answer the phone ourselves during business hours, and there is also a live answering service. You will never be transferred to an automated voice menu. Or, you may email us directly at info@savvyrest.com and you will receive a personal response from a member of our staff.

Sincerely,
Customer Service

I just got my Savvy Rest mattress & foundation and the cover is wonderful. It's natural cotton & organic - not damask like beds from Sleepy's etc. And it's soft. Besides that, most people DO use a mattress pad so point is moot. Latex layers are not covered - if they were covered, they wouldn't hold together well - the layers would slide and shift. We have a total of 6 layers; three on each side of our king bed. If you mishandle them, they can rip - the Savvy bed assembly video shows you how to handle the layers when assembling. It sounds to me like this reviewer either isn't really a customer, but if he is, then he didn't do his research.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Scorpio

Something that you've always taken for granted or believed implicitly could have a big question mark hanging over it during the next few weeks. The more entrenched your views are about this, the more difficult it will be to accept that perhaps it's time for a change of opinion or, at the very least, a revaluation of what you think. Mercury turns retro in your house of communications, so do your best to be open-minded now.
