Disney is a corproation is owned by stock holders of many races including Hawaiians, KS, OHA, Liliuokalni trust, etc. This is not a race issue.

I've spent my whole life in Hawaii. I've worked many jobs in my life time including teaching school. I love to go to Disney Land where they hire people of all ages and race. There are no crack heads sweeping streets or running rides. I can have fun and feel very safe. I WOULD work part time for the lower pay just to be part of the experience. I don't want the big boss job, give me the "Walmart Greeter" position! Final note: Education gets you the $$$ if that's what your after, not crack!

I just wanna know if there will be a job for local musicians. I can play a MEAN version of "whinnie the Pooh" on my uke. I'm working on a couple of falsetto numbers including "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes". Kimberly Locke has nothing on me. what the hell is wrong with you people!@#$ what's up with all the hate on disney? so what if disney hires mainland people. who the hell do you think is supposed to get the local hires up to speed with the company? do you expect the local hires to figure out how disney does business? yah, so there's bound to be mainland hires, and probably the higher ups, big deal. tell me you don't expect a huge company like disney to hire only locals now? come on! don't judge, just deal with it! in today's economy, you should be glad there's a giant company bringing jobs to hawaii. you have to consider the thousands of people in hawaii who are out of a job and desperate to get any job out there. if you get a job at the bottom, work your way up. having some education helps. don't expect to get a high position without any experience or education. get real! if you have both and still end up at the bottom, consider it as a foot in the door. don't be a jerk. i'm sure disney's not looking for jerks to hire.
