Speaking as someone with more common sense than bitter people who blame their high energy costs on a utility company, instead of on the attorney general and legislature that pushed for deregulation, or the DPUC that approved all increased utility rates, I can assure you that Mr. Necci is not "useless", but is one of the most respected businessman in the state. It's obvious that you're opinion of the man, who you undoubtedly have never had the opportunity to meet, was based on the biased and often inaccurate or incomplete stories that this paper published for the last 2+ years.

And if by "heave-ho" you mean he officially announced his retirement five months ago and was asked not to retire, then yes, you can term it "heave-ho". Mr. Necci had enough class to continue his employment until the company was able to find a replacement.
