Fred Cumbie's a good man BUT look at the political hacks on the board! Nancy Gemskie? Wife of a city commissioner and she's on the executive board? Wonder why no "regular" citizens are on this board.

Lawyers have gotten a bad rap on many occasions. But in the world of laws there seems to be a little different culture. It seems to come down to doing the 'legal thing' as opposed to the 'moral thing'. Often if a law or other operating directive is not in place, the tendency is to do something because it is not illegal at the time or dis-allowed by board operating directive. Lawyers are magnets for litigation, in this case aat tax payers expense.
