Lee...get your nose out of Sonoma and Marin's ass and stand up for us, just once.

You say that only 25 cfs will make it to dry creek? But isn't there a requirement that the Upper Russian be maintained at 75 cfs? Dry Creek is required to be at 80 cfs during the summer. That means that at the confluence you have at least 155 cfs with a minimum requirement of 85 cfs. Where do you think the additional 70 cfs will go?

Today, the flow in Healdsburg is about 330 cfs while the flow in Hopland is about 85 cfs:

They have plenty in Sonoma, and bumpkins like Lee O. Howard are exactly the folks that sold Mendocino down the river (pun intended).

If you knew half as much as you claim, you would know the Russian is going to get dialed back to 25cfs by order of the State Water Board. You would also know that Pinches has lots of opinions but few facts. Lee Howard has forgotten more than you ever knew.

Come, come Lee (or maybe Sean, one in the same), you know that's conditional, is after July 1, and doesn't change the fact that Sonoma is required to maintain flows in Dry Creek that are above that requirement anyway. They will just reduce the flow to the minimum, make sure the people of Mendocino get nothing, and then take whatever is left over.

I would agree, however, that Lee probably has forgotten a lot of what he thinks he knew, but that's probably a good thing for the rest of us.

The cutback to 25cfs is conditional? Do you really think the inflow to Lake Mendocino will be 25,000 acre feet by June 30?

I don't see you disputing that Pinches is a know nothing blow hard full of hot air and short on facts. Like it or not, the fact is that Mendocino County does not have a veto over Sonoma County selling water to Marin. It was ignorant people like Pinches who lack the ability to read and understand who let the rights to our water get away. We won't get it back by making more ignorant statements or poking a sharp stick in the big dog's eye.

I am flattered that you think I might be Sean or Lee, but they are not the only ones who understand the basic facts of our water situation and the regulatory thicket that we have to deal with. But that's ok, you and Pinches just keep saying something stupid and see how far that gets you.

...and you don't deny that the Dry Creek requirements make the Russian's requirments below the confluence irrelevant and leaves free water for Sonoma at our expense.

I could care less about Pinches, because puppets such as yourselves are the ones helping Sonoma and Marin protect their own interests while blowing smoke in the direction of Mendocino. Keep up the great work! I'd rather put a muzzle on that big dog than continue to be bit. I do appreciate your honesty in admitting that you are scared of them though, but that won't help us.

I don't hear a plan from you, just uninformed spew. Water rights D 1610 is scheduled to be renegotiated. The way we will do that successfully is to have a credible position based on facts and a firm understanding of the basic reality, not by going off half-cocked like a whiney baby.

You say the Dry Creek requirements make the Russian's requirements below the confluence irrelevant giving Sonoma free water, but you don't explain your logic, if any you have. I say it is not irrelevant. The restricted releases down Dry Creek is one of the things that needs to be fixed, but we won't get it done by acting like ignorant cry babies.

Read the requirements and understand their effects, which it is clear you haven't done yet. I put some of it above, but I don't have time to teach you how to do your job. If you think that standing up for our interests is "crying," you need to stop representing my interests and the rest of us locals. Don't be afraid of the "big dogs."
