I would like to talk with people already involved with prosper learning. I'm considering enrolling in the program and would like input from those doing it.

Thanks

Hi Chris, I've been talking to Prosper also. To tell the truth I have been unable to verify any of the claims provided in the phone discussion I had with Mark Farrel, the sales guy that called.
I did find some negative info on Shawn Casey, nothing specific and nothing any more reliable than the claims made in the call.
I am invited to a call in conference today with Mr. Casey and some others.
If you'd like you and I could get together and discuss our experience with starting an internet business, just reply to this message.
Thanks
Mike Martinez

Hi, I'm Paul and I work for Prosper Learning. The question I have is how can I choose the proper words. For example if I am a candy manufacturer I wouldn't choose the word "candy", as the other manufacturers already used it to promote their sites. I would rather use "lollypop" or "sweet", or some other related words? Or maybe using words that have already been promoted will help me?
Thanks,
Paul - Prosper Learning team

If you ever consider distance studies, I would recommend Prosper Learning. With them, you won't just products but one-on-one coaching with an industry expert to each student through web-conferences, telephone conferences

They can.help you master the skills you need either in real estate, stock market investing, ecommerce, entrepreneurship and personal finance....

Here is and interesting article published on the Deseret Morning News about the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2005 where 24 finalists for the award were announced.

http://deseretnews.com/dn/view/0,1249,6001328...

Among the full list of finalists, I saw that Prosper Inc. were included. That got me curious. I am all about finding successes and “prosper” Prosper Inc. has helped us find that elusive success in life.

I made an internet search for Prosper Learning and found that it is actually an institute where one-on-one business coaching and mentoring is given to people who wishes to venture into businesses like real estate, finance, e-commerce, entrepreneurship and stock trading. There are a few negitve but much more posive links

I called ED from Ripoff reoprt and he said they are doing exactly the things promised in our program. If you wish cal ED owner of Ripoff.com and ask him his thoughts about Prosper Inc or also(Prosper learning by students)

Report: Rip-off Report Prosper findings
http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/167/rip...

Also- At www.wealth-coaching.com you can get prosper learning and find out how to be succesfull students are becomong(our story is there). these help show that they have had great success with teaching people how to become succesful.

Starting a business is one thing but starting a successful business is another. Prosper Learning provides all the wealth building tools and guiding the student on ways to use these tools as effectively as possible. More than 20,000 people have undergone Prosper Learning’s coaching.

I think that it sure will make a lot of difference for someone who has been mentored by a specialist in the field and for someone who has not. Prosper Learning is said to cut our learning curve and provides us with a tried, tested and proven route in the various fields of businesses.

In an interesting article on US Business Review, Prosper Learning is featured as a mentoring program with a unique strategy for success. Their hands-on approach to distance learning has enabled them to help over 30,000 students set up successful business ventures.

DO NOT VENTURE INTO THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!! MY BF ATTEMPTED THIS, TRYING TO MANAGE HIS MONEY AND IT COST HIM NEARLY $6000.00!!! THEIR OVERALL TECHNIQUES ARE COMMON SENSE. I BELIEVE THEY EXPLOIT THOSE WHO ARE FINANCIALLY STRAPPED. THIS F***ING PROSPER HAS CAUSED NUMEROUS ARGUEMENTS BETWEEN US, AND I NOW HAVE $$ IN THE BANK, WHERE HE WENT THRU THIS "MENTORING" PROGRAM FAITHFULLY,(IMPROVING AND REDESIGNING THEIR FLOW SHEETS). WHEN ALL WAS SAID AND DONE, HE CALLED TO SPEAK WITH SOMEONE REGARDING HIS BILL, AND POSSIBLE DISCOUNT/REIMBURSEMENT, THEY SOLD HIS "LOAN" OFF, TO A THIRD PARTY. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

I have recently tried to cancel prosper for a second time because i was talked back into it. When i signed up for the program, not much detail was given.{Clue one.} I want to own my OWN Business. They dont care. Even though they claim to follow through. They want me to do real estate. that IS NOT my goal. Ignorant they are! They should do themselves a favor and not call people out of the blue begging to sign up. Thats what gets them into trouble! I am very angered with them.

They sent me an email stating i will be reimburse. We shall see. Trying to exit the program is very difficult and takes hours if not days to do so. If you want to be successful, i dont believe you need 13,000 dollars to have someone ask you if you have done your homework. If you want success, go to book stores and read what you are looking for. You have to seek it. Get motivated.

If anyone has had any luck getting money back from Posper reply to this post. I sent an e-mail to Devin lastnight. We tried to get out and called student services a while ago and were told there are no refunds. We were given a new coach who is much better, however we still were grossly misled by the salesman on the phone. We were promise tax savings and coaching to reduce out expensed in conjunction with the John Commuta program we were already using. If I hear anything positive I will Share. Thanks, Jeff PA>

I have talked to my credit card company and they have reimbursed me. What i have also done is call HSBC and canceled my loan myself and then spoke with them about cancellation and noted to them that i went ahead and canceled my loan with HSBC. Send them a fax as well. Be serious and firm. DO NOT give up. they will hold you on the phone FOREVER! Let me know how it goes!!

I have also been duped by Prosper. I tried to get out, but was told no refunds. We have been in this for a year, but were without a coach for 5 months. They have recently assigned us a new coach, but I am not satisfied. If anyone has any advise for me on how to get out and get my money back, please let me know.
Thanks.

If you notice, the only ones having any luck are from Utah....hmmm, is that suspicious??? I was not even close to making money the first 3 weeks because my coach kept putting things off and wasnt answering my questions. i think prosper is trying to cover their tracks.
