Should YouTube Get Blame For Teen Beating Video?

I don't think you can blame you tube for the horrible way those girls beat up one of their own peers. They certainly in my opinion act like animals and should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. If they could act like that to one of their own, what would they do to an elderly person that might tick them off. Their parents should not be trying to get them off lightly they should be ashame of them and make sure they learn a good lesson from this so it will never be done to anyone else. How absolutely crazy to try and blame you tube if your children were told to jump off a roof would they??

THIS GENERATION OF GIRLS ARE SICK!!!!!!!!!! NO FEELING NO RESPECT. I AM GLAD I DON'T HAVE GIRLS

No! YouTube is not to blame. It's the kids and their parents that are blame. YouTube did not ask the girl to go and beat someone up to post. That is so stupid.

Absolutely NOT !
no more than myspace is responsible. If we didn't have youtube, then blame who ? the cellular carrier because they would of recorded it on their cellphones. To me, it sounds like whoever is bringing youtube into this is seeing $$$$$$ signs, give me a break, let the fault fall where it should lay, with the girls. Thats the problem these days, finger pointing and everyone is to blame instead of the offender. |

Absolutely not. Youtube, myspace, and facebook are just vehicles for expressions and connections. It's up to the user to be responsible. There are millions more teens and adults using these sites in appropriate ways. Let's not let a few stupid, ignorant, classless people ruin it for everyone else.

The 8 teens are the only ones to blame, they must be held accountable for their barbaric behavior. I think they should be tried as adults and given the maximum sentences, plus lose driving privileges until they are 25. If we don't make examples of them by giving harsh penalties for such actions, it will become a copycat situation that will happen again.

Well, I agree to a certain extent.. I don't think that YouTube is 100% at fault.. but they do have some blame in the sense that they allowed this video to air for the entire world to see.. they should have better control of their videos and they should censor out certain videos that come in if they are deemed too violent or too racy for the public to see.. to ensure that incidents like this don't happen..

Has anyone here really spent the time looking at the crap that is posted on you tube???? There is a lot of filth out there and it's time there are stronger restrictions as to what and what can be on there. Most of it is just crap. |

Definetly not blame YouTube! Blame the parents of these Chola teenagers. I also believe they should be tried as adults and given the max! Next, I suppose we will be hearing that society is to blame for the upbringing of these poor 'children'! BOO HOO

I don't think youtube is to blame for any of this material.
I am so glad that I graduated from high school several years ago. Girls these days have absolutely no self respect as well as respect for others. I hope those teen girls all die in prison. |

The girls are responsible for their actions and the punishment should be severe enough to deter others. Nevertheless youtube is providing the means for these girls to "boast". It should not only remove such videos, but the accounts showing them should be cancelled. http://www.fromtots2teens.com/troubledteens.h...
