Bouche dentist won't face criminal charges, DA says

Word has it that Buncombe County District Attorney Ron Moore won't seek criminal charges against Asheville dentist Dr. Kathryn Philpott-Hill.

He should. Another DA proably would. She knowingly took money in advance for work she knew she wasn't going to do. Fraud. Some may be lucky to get part of their money back if that.

I agree she should be charged but she probably donated money or "services" LOL to the good DA.

Kathryn Philpott-Hill and her assistant, Glenda, managed to suck 36,000 dollars from me beginning a few years ago. I had just gotten of a year of chemotherapy which ruined my teeth. I also am disabled. I believed her when she said if I paid up front, I would save 30% in the long run.
She tried to get another 20,000. dollars from me beyond that by using a dental credit group.
My mother stepped in at that point as I was not well. When confronted, Kathryn agreed to cancel the credit company contract, have record wiped clear with the dental credit company, and finish.
After this occurred, She made up all kinds of reasons why it was taking so long to finish my mouth. She finished the front six crowns only. I was ill, she makes a great fraud and now I am paying another dentist to finish my mouth.
I am not well and the money she stole was retroactive disability payments to myself and my son which somehow she knew I had.
She is now hiding in the hospital by claiming to be "Bi-Polar." I am also bi-polar (how she got idea in the first place so she could hide)
This process was over the period of 3 years.
This is a very brief explanation of what actually ocurred.
I have contracted a lawyer and all I want is 25,000 dollars back from her. If she and her partner Pam can't manage this, I plan to sue for actual damages as well as pain and suffering. Lots of witnesses and a recording of her before she became "ill" and made fool of me.

She is a plain thief.......I have no respect for the idiot DA who decided not to file criminal charges agianst her. I spoke to him and her lawyer. They are either on the take or she lied to them as well. SHE IS A GRIFTER, TALENTED GRAFTER AND TELL HER WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND. i AM HIRING 2 PRIVATE DET. AND A LAWYER. SHE WILL GET IT ONE WAY 0R THE OTHER. Pay me back what is reasonable or ........who knows? Surely she is not still at Copestone!? I'd be seriously surprised if she is even still in the area! This is just my opinion, but I believe she must have been heavy on drugs to have been able to blatantly lie to all these patients face to face. Clearly she had zero concern as to the outcome, once everyone finally realized they were getting the run-around! You just wonder how many mouths she actually ever fully completed!!

It amazes me what money can do for a criminal. Dr. Philpot-Hill is the ultimate grifter. I wish I had not been so ill that I allowed myself to be sucked in to her web of lies. I feel like a fool, however that is what these individuals depend upon. Glenda, Tish....were you her unaware emplyees or a part of the scam? Those of us that have been taken advantage of need to get together to stop her from doing this to others. I have a lawyer who will do a class action. As far as I am concerned...I am done with trying to reason with the DA who is just a talking head and only interested in his political standing.

The DA's office should be ashamed of themselves...all of them! I just wonder what Dr. Hill did for them. Dr. Hill was heavily involved in the Asheville art scene. She prides herself on being a patron of the arts, however, she is just full of crap.

Lady, I'm very sorry that you went through that especially at a time when your medical condition may have been taken advantage of. Have you contacted the NC Attorney General? I wish you well in the future!

It is despicable that the DA is of no help when there are so many individuals personally effected by this criminal! How is it that she can simply get away with this fraud? I encourage you to google the definition of a sociopath. They have the abiility to blend in with normal people, convincing you that they are a caring person, when all along they have a specific "agenda." They ooze charisma and charm, further sucking the victims into their scheme. They always leave a trail of devestation!

Short for Laurie Elizabeth Breiner and I live in Brevard, NC. Don't know how they got Boca. Although I did live in North Miami and Boynton Beach. My husband travels for work and I have alot of family in West Palm. I am going through another Porphyria attack and trying to get remission again. I have a sixteen year old son. This keeps me going. I don't have alot of strength right know. I will post and update when I can.
