Another great staff member at Sutter Lakeside Hospital. Shouldn't they do background checks on their nursing staff??

Who is really the victim here? Mr Blameless Dentist who is impotent against his wife's attack? Or the wife who has been banished from her home and rejected by her husband of 19 years? In every relationship that fails, two people are responsible. What did he do to her to provoke her anger? Anger arises from hurt. If you want to look at facts (as news reporters do), then look at all the facts. Why didn't the news article assign her the credibility of her careeer as a Registered Nurse at Sutter Lakeside Hospital? Give Margaret a break in your heart and pray for her recovery.

This Doctor filed separation in 04. Filed for divorce as of this past Wednesday. Probably had many calls to him from his soon to be EX-wife,
being harassed did the right thing by getting a restraining order. She violated the order by coming to his/their? home with a order in place. Upon entering or coming onto the property she violated the order, pickax in hand? Protecting himself he did what he had to.(Did he have a gun permit?)
If alcohol was involved, that can have a major decision on how we play the cards we are dealt in life, how we play them is up to ourselves.
Right or wrong - someone will all ways have a difference of optionality's what makes living in the free world USofA, such a nice place to be.

Couldn't he just have performed a Root Canal on her?? That would have shut her up for a few days.... Ain't Love Grand! Guess Sutter's Wellness Center isn't working so great,,it was about 2 years ago when there was a Murder/Suicide with 2 Sutter Employees... Maybe they should Drink/Smoke More and Stop doing Yoga...

If this man had been black, the DA's office would have charged him with murder.

If you are afraid of your spouse or anyone else, would you sleep with your phone unplugged? Why not just turn the ringer off so that you can still make the outgoing calls? If you are afraid of someone such that you need a restraining order, wouldn't you want a working phone near you at all times?

Police should check the phone records and make sure the woman was not invited over. Better check for her prints on the pickax too.

This investigation seems to have concluded too early and without adequate checking.

you people are not considering the person he has been a dentist in this county for many years. He is my dentist if you knew this man he goes out of his way to help poeple and would never try to hurt someone just because. His wife did drink and has a record Dr. Johnson has nothing on his record. I just thank God she didn't kill him with that pickax. May God please watch over the both of them.

I'm always so sorry to hear about these kind of things, and the alcohol element makes it even sadder, so many good people are ruined by that. I hope she recovers quickly and gets her life back on track, and hopefully the legal system will be sensible and merciful as well.

The DA and LCSO needs to take another look at their so-called victim. I went to him twice for dental care and decided not to go back because he was very rough. He gave me the creeps, too. I think the DOJ should be involved here so that the real truth can be sought. He should not be allowed to be visiting his victim in the hospital, either. Dr. Johnson, you don't fool me for a nanosecond.

All dentists are abusers in my book, LOL. But to the point, this lady is no nun. Far from it. And to think this drug abuser was a nurse. Hope she administered the right medications when she was drunk on the job.
