"which means from very limited knowledge".....
That's never stopped you from making a fool of yourself before....and I see the trend continues. |

pretty much everyone on this blog has limited info on the case, I think most people see that there is room for doubt in both directions and some very relevant issues have been raised here-we'll just have to wait and see if they are addressed in the courtroom. I can't see shooting a woman even if she was wielding a pick-axe, but I wasn't there and like everyone but the doc and his wife I don't know exactly how it went down.
So how about giving us something a bit more usefull than a cheap shot wow, or is that the best you've got? |

Phil- I agree with your assessment of the situation. It is well thought out and constructive. Only the man and his estranged wife knew what really happened that night, and for us to speculate either way, with or without a smoking gun, is sad and perverse. |
Seeing your posts, I consider the fact you disagree with anything I have to say a very good sign. |
|
Ok Wow... I'm not sure where you're get racist from. Neither of these posters has mentioned race at all. Perhaps if you can not be civil and accurate you should exit the conversation. |

I'm talking about Ralph's rascist rants on other threads. Surely we don't have to post in a vacuum do we? Perhaps you should better familiarize yourself with the people you defend. Unless of course you're practicing sockpuppetry

Wow, are you misunderstood. I know the feeling. Would you teach me sockpuppetry and juggling? I would love to learn so I could bring joy to people's lives. |
If you expect people to understand your posts then you should use the "reply to" option, not to mention that if you are going to participate in a discussion you should include everyone not just your personal scapegoat. This discussion is about this article and you cannot expect every person it read every thread. I don't really care how you a Ralph feel about each other but your rude behavior towards me, when all I did was make an observation, speaks of ignorance and low-class. |

Wow,
You are a creative writer par excellance and funny too. However, as I have said before in other postings, don't forget to use your heart. I think your core gift is lying there, it just needs positive stimulation once in awhile to bring out the compassionate side of you. Peace, my friend. |

GIAR,
Talk about giving it a rest. You came after me, suggesting I leave the conversation. All I did was answer your question about where I got my information. If you're too lazy to confirm it for yourself, don't blame me. You've now suggested that I'm low-class and ignorant. I suggest that responding to those preposterous and incorrect characterizations would be wasting my time, and of course be off topic. As for using the reply button ad nauseum, why? Do you have diffuculty with reading comprehension? I'm pretty clear when the posts are directed at me because they are addressed to me. It's easier to do it that way and it saves bandwidth. I'm also quite capable of reading back through the thread if I need to. G&0, Sock puppetry is the act of posting under different handles on the same topic, usually to give the appearance that others support your position, or to attack someone who has an opposing view. Something I think GIAR is doing. Of course I don't really care enough to check. If GIAR has a valid point to make, I'm sure he/she/they will attempt to. |

Wow,
Thank you for sharing in a kind, patient way with me. As always, I learn alot from you on a variety of different subjects. Ginger and Opal |

WOW, talk about wasting bandwidth...and time...and energy. None of these posts of yours have addressed the topic. Should you be reminded? "A battered man shares experience of domestic violence".
Anything RELEVANT to write, anything at all? You usually are not short on opinions. |

Sure, the possession of firearms, is at the moment a protected right of the citizens of the United States. And sometimes, in order to protect yourself, their use is unavoidable. You know nothing of this case or the people involved, but seemed comfortable making a judgement about the use of a firearm in this case. And like I said, you have no information with which to make that judgement, so you're talking out your a$$ like usual. Which was the point of my first comment, that not having information has never stopped you from stating your erroneous conclusions as fact. Are you satisfied, Ralph or Give it a Rest or whoever you want to post as next?

And another thing, one only has to read the thread about "recent letters on race...." to realize you're a racist. Of course that's one man's opinion. Anyone is free to read the thread and judge for themselves. I don't need any further convincing
|
|
If I am talking out of my a-- then you must be reading out of yours, because I haven't made any judgment in my posts on this topic. But the simple fact that I would dare suggest that there are non-lethal ways to defend oneself (that even the police uses, such as mace and stun guns) apparently causes an NRA supporter like you to become hysterical and foam at the mouth... Calm down, no one is contesting your right to sleep with your gun if it makes you feel safe. |
|
|
Furthermore, I am the only one using my real name here, WOW or whatever...because I do not give a flying ---- what people like you think of me...Clear enough?
|
|
|
Because you haven't used a racist comment in a thread that has nothing to do with race, doesn't change the fact that you appear to be a racist, and that, my friends, colors all of your opinions. And Ralph, you've got nothing to lose by using your real name, you lost it years ago with all those letters to the editor. That you don't care what people think is kinda moot wouldn't you agree?

You are attempting to turn the tables on me...Nice try! You are most likely one of those who haven't gotten over the Kelseyville mascot change...I would suggest counseling to help you get over your grief. The fact that I denounce America and More generally Indo European civilization ("western civilization") for having been racist for centuries, for being a kind of white supremacist civilization, does not make me a racist. Quote from Senator Albert Beveridge, 1900: "We are-meaning American Anglo-Saxons the ruling race of the world...we will not renounce our part in the mission of our race, trustee under God of the civilization of the world...He has marked us as his chosen people...He has made us addept in government that we my administer government among savage and senile peoples." As you can see, America defined the idea of the "master race" way before Hitler, to try to validate its attempted physical and cultural genocide of the indigenous people of this continent. The fact that the term "redskin" is still used in sport mascots and widely accepted by the general public PROVES that this nation is still racist to the core, as the word redskin is a racist slur. Only hypocrisy and lies can state otherwise. Furthermore, there is another kind of racism that still flourishes in the mainstream society: the idea of "cultural superiority", which is used to attempt to validate the destruction of indigenous cultures (perceived to be "inferior") here and throughout the world. That's racism, period. |

Hey, do you all remember the "Crazy Crab"? SF Giants Crazy Crab? This topic reminds me of those times! Everyone would throw beer and food at it because they did not like it! remember........

You want to talk about racism, WOW?...then there is environmental racism, like the attempt by the government to come to an agreement with Indian tribes in the 90's to build nuclear waste dump sites on their reservations. Of course the tribes refused...and that was unexpected, as most are very poor and were expected to agree to these multi-millions dollars deals.
But that's one of the HUGE difference between Indians and the mainstream culture: Indians know they cannot eat and drink money, after the land and the water have been poisoned forever, so millions of dollars mean nothing to them if the deals imply destroying the environment...what a lesson for the dominant culture!(Still hasn't learned though...will it ever?...will greed ever end?) And if you consider this racist, read again: this is not a matter of skin color but of CULTURE. |
