Does anyone know if this can cause cancer if used long enough? I know there weren't any studies, but it makes me worried.

P&G recalled the earlier mouthwash and recommended this product CREST PRO HEALTH!!! as an Alcohol Free Mouthwash. Been using for over 2 months and as a retiree and trying to keep healthy we walk twice a day. About 3 weeks ago I had to stop due to shortage of breath. After about 5 minutes I was fine and walked for another 30 minutes no problem. As I have SOYA allergy, I was double checking the ingredients on everything. Then the symptoms intensified. Aching Jaw Line and a permanent Sore Throat. Then I found if I go outside in the cold for a short period of time the symptoms return. Go back inside in the warmth and they start to dissipate almost immediately this is weird. You think your losing your mind. I used it this morning and noticed, for the first time, a funny tingle in my Jaw Line. So NO MORE PRO HEALTH ALCHOL FREE Mouthwash for me. Thanks for all your postings it has been a great relief to see I am not alone and haven't developed more allergies as I originally thought. Keep you posted on my progress in the future.

Wow what a joke, i cant believe how far back these problems have been reported and this stuff is still on the shelves. Ive been freakin out for the last month thinkin i have cancer in my mouth or something, because of the pain and swelling in my mouth from just the prohealth toothpaste. I even had a $3000 ct scan done 2 weeks ago that didnt show anything wrong. The feeling in my mouth had become unbarable. Finally i happened to come across another page like this and eventhough i wasnt convinced, i went out and bought my old colgate toothpaste and after just 1 day i feel so much better. Not completely normal but the horrible dryness and pain in my mouth is basically gone. I will never buy from crest again.

I bought the Crest Pro-Health mouth rinse at costco. When my husband saw, he immediately told me what everybody is saying. I went on line and started reading. I am horrified! I am return it tomorrow for sure. I will definitely not use it.

I actually have been using Listerine Total Care for about 4 weeks now and about 3 weeks or so I noticed that I couldn't taste anything it felt like I had burned my tongue. Ever since then I still have not been able to taste anything at all. I am however going to stop using the mouth wash and see what happens.

I had used the Crest Pro Health Complete with severe shedding of the tissues of the inside of the cheek. However, the worst of the problem was that I developed a neck pain that extended down to the chest; primarily on the right side. Unwittingly on two occasions, I had halted the use of this product; with both times resulting in the pain subsiding. When continuing with the product, the pain returned. My cardiologist was VERY concerned that this pain was to do with a heart condition. However, when I dicontinued using Crest Pro Health Complete permanently, the strange pains dissapated, then disappeared completely. This is from about two weeks ago now. The pain and suffering from the use of this product has been extreme. How P&G can be allowed to continue to provide this product to the public is criminal. My situation, in addition to the seemingly endless number of people with strong side effects to Crest Pro Health Complete Oral Rinse should be qualified for a class action suit against P&G. If any action is initiated, I'd appreciate that I be contacted.

I wish I had known all this before I bought the Pro Health mouth wash. My tongue has a sore on it that appeared after I had just settled other sores in my mouth. I didn't think anything of it right away until the sore on the tongue appeared. Then my face broke out and I was like "allergy? Hmm - to what?" My husband and I thought it was red dye since I was drinking the new red pop from CRUSH (the strawberry) but I stopped drinking it and my face broke out again today after using Pro Health mouth wash. I'm going to stop using it but where is the justice for someone like me who has to suffer until the sore leaves my mouth? I'm not one that usually has allergy issues except when it comes to seasonal changes; so what is in this Pro Health that has my mouth sore and my throat sore (throat is sore because of the mouth)? Crest should be FORCED to STOP making their Pro Health mouth wash and go figure out what's causing this mess!
Is there anyone in PA that has a lawsuit out on them? If so, please send me the information. I really think this is something people need to take care of -- P & G needs to be forced to take their Crest Pro Health off the market until it's fully evaluated! There has to be something in it causing these types of reactions!

I am so happy to have found this. Honestly, the only thing that has happened to me, which I'm confused about still, is the purple clumps. Now, reading this, I think it wise to stop using the product immediately. I've been using it off and on for about a month, with no symptoms that I can remember; I just hope that they won't show up later. And Crest has seriously done NOTHING about this? W-o-w. How telling of their character.

Within a few weeks of using cresh clinical and crest prohealth mouth wash I developed peeling gums and terribly painful sores in the sindide of my mouth. I went to my Dentist and she confirmed for me the infact 5% of people are allergic to Crest ProHealth Products. Ugh! Terrible to find out in such a way.

I bought the crest pro health anti-gingivitis mouthwash(green) and only used it 4 times. I noticed brown stains and my bottom gums became extremely irritated and swollen. I googled it and have found hundreds upon hundreds of complaints. It is now day 2 of not using the mouthwash and my gums are still swollen. I decided to buy biotene toothpaste and mouthwash as that is helping me out right now. I can't believe that this stuff is still sold. Unbelievable. For anyone out there that has been feeling weird, or things just dont seem right in your mouth, yes!! it is the crest pro health products causing it.

I used this for two days (a total of four rinses) -- I stopped four days ago when one of my neck lymph nodes visibly swelled to the size of about a half-pound of ground beef. I was on a roadtrip, so I decided to wait until I got home to go to the hospital as my only other symptom was lack of taste, but it took more than 12 hours for the swelling to start going down and about 36 before my neck looked and felt normal again. My taste, however, has yet to return. I'm glad that other comments seem to indicate that it probably WILL return, but the lack of warning on the label as a side-effect is unconscionable. I've used Crest toothpaste my entire life, but I will never again buy one of their products.

I got my tongue pierced on thursday and i started using crest mouthwash and was running out so i switched to listerine and then i was using crest again and just yesterday i noticed my moth was getting sore and my gums hurt this morning i woke up and it looked like i had a bunch of canker sores on my gums and when i touched them with a Q tip the skin peeled away and my tongue feels numb plus my gums are very sore! It was really scaring me so im glad i found this i might have to switch to sea salt !! its scary that a mouth wash and toothpaste can do this to you.

I started using Crest Complete Multi-Benefit for Whitening and Deep Cleaning. I started noticing that food started tasting like wax. The right side of my mouth felt numb and I could not pucker my lips like when you suck on a straw. I told my husband but because it is not affecting him, he said it could not be the tooth paste. I am glad I found this site. Like so many other, I'm glad I am not the only one. I'll stop using the tooth paste and hope that these problems will go away. I am going to the contact Proctor & Gamble about this. They have to look into this or take this product off the market.

I'm up for a class action lawsuit. I just recently started using the Crest Pro Health clinical mouthwash and my face is currently swelled up from it. It's also caused other issues as well. Obviously I'm not going to use it anymore.

I used this product last night and was repeated woken up throughout the night by pain and discomfort in my jaw. When I woke up this morning both glands on the sides of my jaw are completely swollen. Hope it goes away soon...
5/6/12 - I am having this problem now as we speak where my neck glands are swollen to the size of a large orange and have been in Urgent Care twice. I too have linked it back to this.

Two doctor visits thus far.
- The first visit they tested for strep, mono and the mumps. All came back negative.
- My second visit put me on an antibiotic IV drip for an hour followed by a steroid injected into my vein along with a few other things. The put me on amoxicillin and pain reliever with codeine. They did some more blood test that will take 3 days to grow whatever is causing the swelling. So I will go back in a few days for the results of that.

It wasn't until last night when I was laying in bed thinking about what did I change in my routine and I realized I starting using Crest Pro Health Rinse - Alcohol free. I had heard about other claims on the web about people losing their taste using this but did not think I would find all others who had similar problems as I did. As I searched the internet I am convinced that this is the cause.

Can you tell me what your treatment was? I am in Day 4 of severe swelling and trying to do my own research to resolve this.

I will NEVER, EVER, EVER USE THIS PRODUCT OR ANOTHER CREST PRODUCT AGAIN. I grew up using this stuff and the fact that all these complaints on the web and this product is still on the market is appalling.

Im glad to have found this...let me say that this is actually the 2nd day using it, i just woke up bout 20 minutes ago and noticed my bottom lip swollen and burning. I have blisters inside my lip and its unbearable and i feel real weird...i have used it long time ago and nothing happened to me till now. I was hoping i wasn't sick...then i thought well the last thing i did was use crest pro health mouthwash. It says 4 tea spoons and i was like well maybe it says that for a reason cause you can tell its.strong and does not take much! I used half a cap like most listerines. I dunno if can be the amount you use or if its the product itself. All know is its some strooonnggg stuff. Lol. Although its suppose to.reverse gingivitis in 2 weeks. Hmm its a mystery...but i don't wanna find out so i quit using it today...back to the old fashion stuff i used growing up.:P

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Libra

It's one of those difficult days when anything can and will happen. Someone you were relying on might let you down, plans could be changed at the eleventh hour or a machine could go on the blink. To make matters worse, your energy levels are very erratic, so you feel full of beans one minute and ready to go to sleep the next. Don't make the situation worse by eating foods that give you a high followed by a slump.
