i have no doubt that this is a stunt by the yankees to claim that they are going to win the WS. they and their fans already act as if the trophy is theirs, they just have to go through the motion of the regular season. i think that this crazy notion of charging the guy will quitely fade away. this just seems so out of sorts for such a controlled francise. the new stadium much anticipated that this could happen under their noses. don't buy it. i predict though that girardi is gone before the end of the season.
