well, im still employed for the time being with cemex.we just got word of our christmas party next week.this a party.in the office.employees bring the food.

I was laid off by Cemex in November of 2008 after working for Rinker 20 years. Had a feeling it was going to happen. Pretty soon the US will be totally owned by the rest of the world. It's always about the God almighty dollar and greed.

RMC treated their employees so much better than Cemex. I was laid off in December, 2008 and have seen so many more being laid off since then. Cemex has destroyed so many American lives since they took over. They really don't care about their employees at all - it's all about the almighty dollar and all for themselves! Cemex is a sinking ship and the purchase of Rinker put the nail in the coffin!

Cemex has taken a lot of the humanity out of there business. what is needed is a total overhaul of there management. They have contributed to the run down of that company.

I read they are reshuffling there management to pay there debt. i think that is a joke. It is to little to late. And to late for all those good people they let go. If there is any justice at all they will go down in flames.!!!!!!!!

I hope there company breaks up it will be a good thing F cemex and there management. After 23 years i mean that. They suck big time. sooner or later payback is a bitch.!!!!!

I wonder if they will have to sell more of there company off besides the Australian and Martin Marietta deals.I here they have a funding gap of 2.5 billion next year and 6.5 in 2011? There business in my area is a disaster.!!!!!

How are they going to pay there debt down? sell more assets or sell stock? or both? sounds great dilute your shareholders pay off debt. all Managements should be run this well. Renker must have been laughing all the way to the bank.

cemex here has gone to 4 days a week and they have gave all the work to the other guys , cause they have a crappie customer service , god cemex sucks , im gonna lose my house , the bosses here are worthless , i want a job with blt [a local company]

Well tom from yuma they have until 31july to get a refinance deal done or they will be bankrupt for sure. Bad business decisions and mismanagment have put them where they are. The same thing happend at our plant ran our long time best costomers off millions of dollors a year lost because they could not stand them Cemex.!!!

Cemex is just like the Titanic and the iceberg.!!! i used to believe in Cemex but a change in managment put an end to that. If i were there banks i would put them in default on there debt. they are a bad bet.

I was laid off as well in Dec.08, and like I told everyone, Cemex is just like Tarmac. They came into our Country, bought everything they could and trashed the company. But Cemex has went one step farther, they've carried it one level higher.
