Ah the jerk thinks that butting into a conversation the subject of which he knows nothing about is no stupid.

Have you lost your mind? Did you not correct me and told me that 4 wheels and more meant also Train? Have you suddenly have a bout of dementia not to know that I did not mention anything about "cars". Are you so retarded that you can not associate "4 wheels and more" to mean "Bus"?

Not only are you really a jerk for butting into my argument with "Tsarbomba" but also so stupid as to ask me "What's your point"? Why did you butt in if you did not know what my point was?

But what exactly is your position regarding the over $5 million elevated rail system?

You have said yourself in #1917 of the "Elevated argument" thread this:

"Hey Sociologist. Simmer down. I was not referring to your post at all. I was referring to the post of "Grinchie" - "I'm for anything that moves away from the Automobile. We did it in the past and it built great cities all over the world, and just because it exposes the fraud of the current Fiat Money Supply doesn't make the benefits any less worthwhile."

You attacked "Grinchie" for being against "automobiles" (and this means cars not buses). We can read your exact statements in other threads. Your denying them here is just another sign of your desperation.

You also brought up "rural" areas such as Bethel, Ohio, even though "Grinchie" was talking about "great cities around the world." Perhaps you think that Bethel, ohio, a village of less than 3000 people, is "a great city".

You have been caught lying twice in one place.

"Sociologist" did you see the word "Bethel" in my post replying to "Grinchie"? I had a discussion with Grincie. Then "Tsarbomba" came in. And then you butted in into my argument with "Tsarbomba" where I mentioned "Bethel, Ohio". Here's Post No. 1896 that clarifies my position using Bethel, Ohio.

Looking for a way to crawl back? My first part of the response was actually asking you what your credentials are to be posting about the entire country which you have not addressed at all.
The second half concerning Berkshire and BNSF addressed your pompous statement about being "ludicrous and ridiculous nonsense to advocate moving away from the Automobile". You say "it turns out", what, you finally decided to do some research before mouthing off? If you dig a little deeper, BNSF owns and operates over 24,000 miles of track which many pax train operators use. So, if you have a brain, BNSF affects pax rail services. It also explains the myopic, anti-rail argument that the Oahu rail project cost is much higher than mainlaid counterparts. Many pax rail operators on the mainland don't need to build their tracks from scratch.
Duh. If you have a brain bigger than a pea you'd know that those 24,000 miles of tracks you proudly refer to are 24,000 miles of tracks for FREIGHT TRAINS.

If you have a brain bigger than a pea you'd know that BSNF Railway is in the business of SHIPPING.

There are no trains such as those running in the subways of New York City in Rural America such as in the vast expanse of the farm lands of Kansas and Iowa. Only a pea brained idiot will continue to insist that RAIL like the street cars of California and the subway trains of New York are relevant in Rural America.

Stop wasting your breath, Really. You cannot keep making disjoint points here and there and hope to slip away from your ludicrous claims. Looking at your posts in toto (not just a paragraph here and a sentence there), it is clear that you are including Bethel, Ohio, among the great cities of the world, and you are making a big effort to tell us what we already know, that Bethel, Ohio, does not have subways or streetcars. Considering the subject of this thread, it seems that you are explaining this to argue against a transit system in Honolulu, but given your wandering escapades, one cannot be absolutely sure.

Without taking a position about Honolulu, I thought it was important to correct your picture of Bethel, Ohio, as it appears that you were talking about an image in your mind that did not correspond to reality.

Even with a population of less than 3000, Bethel, Ohio, has park-and-ride lots, a dial-a-ride system (since 1977), fixed transit routes, and for long-distance travel access to passenger railroads. These are undisputed facts that those who are reading your posts should consider when evaluating your claims.

You also kept repeating "As I said, the only way to get around in most places in the US runs on 4 or more wheels or 2 wheels." Again, I explained to you that the only modes your definition excludes are unicycle, tricycle and non-wheeled vehicles. This is statement of fact. For some reason, you jumped on even this saying "Did you not correct me and told me that 4 wheels and more meant also Train? Have you suddenly have a bout of dementia not to know that I did not mention anything about "cars". Are you so retarded that you can not associate "4 wheels and more" to mean "Bus"?"

I commented on what you wrote in your post, not what lurks in your muddled mind. I simply stated which modes your written definition excluded, and if you calm down for a change and think about it, it is a whole lot of them. But it also included more that you now claim as being your unclear intent.

Instead of unleashing your childish insults at people, you should try harder to mean what you say and say what you mean.

Hey, Sociologist, jerk, if you are not so dumb when you butted in with your post on Bethel and Clermont county you would not be such an idiot to talk about matters that were = not and never the topic of my post.
Go ahead be an idiot and talk about Honolulu and Bethel. Only jerk and an idiot interrupts a conversation not knowing that the topic is "run on 4 wheels or more or 2 wheels", NOT TRAIN..

I've never seen a train with one or three wheels. Maglev would be a train with zero wheels (and this is excluded from your definition), many other trains are not, as they usually have more than four wheels.

Also, contrary to your posts, Bethel, Ohio, is not a great city, it is a village of less than 3000 people, but it is served by a variety of travel modes for different travel needs.

"Sociologist", you are at liberty to talk about any subject.

But you are not at liberty putting words into my mouth.

Now hear this, "Sociologist", MOST PLACES IN THE US DO NOT HAVE TRAIN. Most people in the US go about town on vehicles NOT TRAIN.

just don't rant on the web, why don't you do something productive about it?
oh yeah, that's right... you can't do nothing about it! you're just a troll!

Idiots who are much more than idiots step into a discussion not knowing what was being discussed. Are you one of those nuts who advocate that we should all get rid of vehicles in favor of Trains.

Apparently what you post and what lurks in your mind are two different things! Learn to say clearly what you mean.

BTW, I wasn't arguing for anything, I was only clarifying what your post said, that only unicycles, tricycles and non-wheeled vehicles were excluded from your definition. But since you are pressing the issue, Grinchie told you that most great cities have rail.

FYI, Bethel, Ohio, is NOT a great city, but a small village of less than 3000. Therefore, it is not the proper example for Honolulu.

Aloha.

You still appear confused about definitions when you say "vehicles in favor of Trains." Here is the dictionary definition of "vehicle":

"a means of carrying or transporting something <planes, trains, and other vehicles>"

Note that trains ARE vehicles, so your statement remains ambiguous.

p.s. this has nothing to do with preferences of one mode over another. It simply illustrates that your definitions are unclear. As a result, your point as it appears in your post (not your mind) is unclear.
