Union pickets Caterpillar's Peoria headquarters
The Herald-News in Joliet reports that Friday's action is the second information picket for the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.

I was a member of the u.a,w, strike in east peoria in the 60s when caterpillar robbed us of our medical benefits. This company does not have any feelings for the uaw members . They are out to commit legal theft the same as they did in east peoria. i hope all uaw members the best of luck and watch your back.

Personnal intrest in comforts aquired on the backs of workers, could cost a few bucks. Boats break down. Cars and Trucks need repairs. Many times the price of upper management is costly. All that education mostly paid for by their mommies and daddies from the sweat of regular workers.
Most of all experience of going without or paying to fix what you got, can be priceless...
