Tough road ahead for Boxer

Full story: Inland Valley Daily Bulletin

Democrat Barbara Boxer's quest for a fourth term in the U.S. Senate may give Californians a chance to pass judgment on Washington in the Obama era: Do voters approve of the early performance of the Democratic president and Congress? Or is it time to restore more power to Republicans, in this case to a controversial former Silicon Valley CEO making ...

Just what we need, another Republican who favors open boarders and cheap labor for her campaign donners. Remember; the Republican party did not give one congressional vote to implement Social Security in the 1930 or Medicare in the 1960's, they called it socailism. They also wanted to invest the social secuity fund in the stock market at the start of Bush's second term.

There are reminders every day why I am a grateful Republican and I have the left to thank for that.
The Republicans you refer to, and there are many democrats as well, are economic republicans. They are the worst. To them, its all about money. Social Republicans want the national guard on the border, the illegals deported, and those aiding and abetting them shot. Its hard to throw all republicans and democrats into one pot these days, its a mixed up mismatched hodgepodge of roaming idiots. Tolerance, the last virtue of a dying society.

I am so very tired of Boxer's attitude I will vote for anyone but her. Barbara, remember the congressional bank-the one you used to cash worthless checks that were non sufficient funds.

Don't let the door hit you on your way out.

You have got to be kidding. She doesn't have values that Californians want. She has her own agenda. We will vote her out in 2010. She does not represent California, only San Francisco, which is bunch of weird folks.

I have never viewed her as anything but a representative who has always been concerned about CA. In the Congress, seniority is what counts, and the citizens are going to make a big mistake if they trade that seniority for a new jr. senator. That mistake will be compounded if the replacement is a failed CEO who got a multimillion dollar golden parachute.

Still better than a carreer lawyer/politican.
You vote these reresentatives out every election until you find someone who gives a shit about what their constituancy is concerned with.
The only thing Boxer is famous for is consistantly coming down on the wrong side of every issue that supports special interests or American hurting policy.

It doesn't matter who gets elected--the citizenry will still treat them like s***. They will always be damned if they do and damned if they don't. It has to be someone with icewater in their veins. Boxer has--Fiorina, not.

While Boxer has held office, DC has allowed the jobs to easily leave the US. Don't blame Fiorina. She was trying to save a company dying from the ridiculous cost of doing business in this god-forsaken state. She negotiated for herself what the board agreed to. I want that kind of negotiator working for CA in DC and one who knows how and why the laws favoring illegals should be changed. I can't wait for Boxer's replacement, no matter what their affiliation. Our state and our country is dying a slow death.

Wha,wha what?
Right off the bat I'll admit I'm not crazy about another CEO running for office.
But it's still better than another career politician/lawyer.
Boxer is a lock step ultra liberal while Fiorina called McCain to task on more than one occasion.

This is Barbara Boxer's Political Obituary. Boxer has presided over the collapse of a once-great state. She is no Cranston. She is a do-nothing attention seeker and has let California collapse.

Boxer's in Washington DC, WRITING BAD CRIME NOVELS while you look for a job in California.(Look it up on Amazon, it's ironically called "Blind Trust.")
If Carly Fiorina runs on "jobs, jobs, jobs," Boxer will be unable to offer anything. Then she can leave the senate to write crime novels full time...

This article claims that Fiorni was rated among the 20 worst CEO's in the country before she was fired from HP with a 20+ million dollar golden parachute; she was fired for incompetence when she was an advisor to McCain during his presidential campaign. Another print article in the Seattle paper states that she was dropped from the voting roles in New Jersey when she resided there, because she never participated; it said that she has never voted since she moved to CA in 2000.
Sounds like a great candidate.

Want to share the adult-diaper concession I plan on getting from the Fiorina campaing?

You know, the one the candidate will need when she shows up at her rallies and finds hundreds of gun-toting fanatics who think it is more than okay to pack heat at political gatherings.

That will be the heart of her base. And to pander to them, she will need to outdo Sarah Palin in knuckle-dragging demagoguery.

That will make for fine television, shouldn't it?

No to all Local, State, and National Incumbents
Its time California woke up and Kick out Fienstien, Boxer, and Pelosi. This Country will be a lot better off, once Statesmen-women step forward and answer the call of their Constituents. Long live Democracy.

I have often heard that New Leadership might be worse!

I say; How can it get worse?

Dumping the uber-liberal idiot Barbara (call me Senator) Boxer would end up being a net gain for CA.. So would dumping the rest of Demo-pukes that have brought CA. to it's knees financially.

Boxer has allowed our state to be completely overwhelmed with millions and millions of people from other countries to completely overwhelm our systems, culture, etc. She and Feinstein have done more to improve the quality of life for illegal aliens than they have for citizens. Count on it, history will show that Boxer and Feinstein have allowed California to become a place with a few rich folks and lots of poor.It is an absolute shame they have done virtually nothing to uphold the rule of law that civilized societies require. I cant understand why people accept that and even ask for more. People who vote for her after witnessing her pathetic performance for years contribute to the decay.

Take things gently otherwise you'll end up running round in ever-decreasing circles. Yes, you may still have a lot to do but you won't achieve very much if you develop butterfingers or waste all your energy on a full-blown panic. Maybe you could rope someone into helping you, rather than doing your Cinderella act in the kitchen while everyone else takes it easy?
