I THINK THE WARNING HERE THAT IS EVEN CLEARER - IS THAT PARENTS NEED TO GET THEIR "HEADS OUT OF THE SAND" AND START EDUCATING THEIR CHILDREN AT HOME ALONG WITH THE SCHOOL SYSTEMS & ALL THE GREAT SUGGESTIONS I THE ARTICLE TO HELP TEENS...
AND WHATS EVEN SADDER TO SAY - ADULTS SHOULD ALSO TAKE THEIR OWN ADVICE. TOO MANY ADULTS RUNNING AROUND UN PROTECTED AND IGNORANT MORE THEN U THINK - AND ITS DISGUSTING THE EXAMPLE SET.
I SURE HOPE THE SCHOOLS AND WHOMEVER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SETTING UP BETTER HEALTH EDUCATION AND TEEN HEALTHCARE/TEEN CLINICS REALLY STEPS THIS UP SOON!

hmmm.. I had no idea that HPV was an STD. They glamorize the vaccine for it in the commercials (ONE LESS) without ever mentioning that it is an STD. All the ads make it seem like ANYONE could get it... not that anyone could get it from SEX.

Not so simple Leoonard-your smellometer may not pick it up!
The commercial does mention STD but Drug Companies have to be careful, they want to sell vaccine. Parents may not want to know about teen sexual behavior, it's easier to talk about cancer prevention-easier to sell a vaccine.

It's like the birth control commercials where the girls are talking about how they took the Pill and lo and behold, their skin cleared up--as if that was the intended purpose of taking Birth Control Pills

how many of these teens heard our then esteemed president Clinton remark that oral sex was not really sex.
Sort of minimizes the risk of any sexual behavior.
But darn if we were not happier then because we refused to see the evil building outside of our country. Apparently not enough people had the internet that the VP created.

I know a girl who after unwrapping smelled like she was past the sell by date. She happens to be a nurse. I went someplace else for dinner.

STDs do happen for a reason, unprotected sex. No wonder STDs are on the rise when you have people that think they can happen for no apparent reason.
I thought that the libs solved this problem by teaching kids how to put condoms on cucumbers in health class?
