I would like to add some food for thought. I am currently serving in Iraq. A couple of years ago two new vehicles were rushed to the battle field to protect us from ied's. These trucks were designed and delivered to the battlefield in a little over a year. They are produced by Force Protection, and International using mostly mass produced parts bolted to an armored body.(Allison Transmissions, Cummings Engines, Etc.)You may have heard of these in GM and Dodge pickups. There are thousands of other standard parts thrown in to build these mine resistant vehicles. This can be done because we still have a auto manufacturing industry in our country. Now I've owned some very good American made vehicles. I've also owned some not so good American vehicles that I wouldn't buy again. But I know we can never put ourselves in the position of having to ask a Korean or Chinese company to produce a truck to protect the next generation of American servicemen.
If the quality of American consumer-available vehicles was anywhere near the quality of vehicles that go on the battlefield I would burn my BMW and Hyundai tomorrow and buy a couple of Fords.

The problem is sharing a few parts does not imply an inherent shared quality.

It is selective memory, no doubt.
And these are not very cognizant people who base their opinions off of emotion alone. I think those that 'get' what you're saying are already there. Those who obviously do not- will , most likely, refuse to ever make that trip

You're so ridiculous that I cannot believe it-
It has been like shooting fish in a barrel.
I'm now embarassed for you.

My historic home is filled with American made furniture and crafts- especially American pottery. I collect Art by great American Artists- Woodstock Impressionists are my favorites. I dine and shop at local, versus corporate shops whenever possible. I buy american made microbrews by the case(not your coors lite, Millerman). Heck , even my retriever is the American field style, versus the english type (although I love that blocky brit head!)

How much of what you own from shopping at of the XMarts was made in China?

It all is, bucko- it all is, indeed.

Still didn't answer the question about all your '
made in China junk.

Of course we have choices- I make them everday, with my brain- oh, forgot, you don't have one of those.
No hurt feelings, I actually think and emotions do not come into it.

you are a sad , sad, little person.
Wave your chinese american flag while you wait for the tow truck to come when your Ford breaks down.
Most like you called them on a japanese designed, korean built phone.
The parts that built the network that carried that call? foriegn.
The petroleum for the pavement you'll be waiting on- foreign.
The wife-beater you'll be wearing- made in China.
The bad country CD you bought at Walmart- china.

I can hear the national anthem again- blasing from your chinese boom box

You confused me with another person that you tried to insult with that whitty retort.

Tojo? Is that your imaginary friend (c'mon, we all know that you do not have any real ones)

I bet your keyboard was made in China, Korea, or Indonesia. and your TopGun sunglasses, too.

Socialism vs. Republic: The choice before us?

But don’t be taken in by empty promises. Just because it sounds good, it may either be good, or possibly be very much the most self-serving lie, whose purpose is ultimately to put you under control. You think it out.

So if you wanna buy a Kia a Nissan
do it, But do not include me in your wicked plot
