Most people fail to realize that not only does Global Warming melt the worlds glaciers and ice packs causing ocean levels to rise.It also decreases the salinity of the water. In time this and CO2 emissions will cause the worlds seas and oceans to become as barren of life as the Dead Sea.This is not speculation,it is a certainty. If history has revealed anything to the human race,it's that by the time we realize this,it will be too late.

I agree that some of the pollution is caused by CO2 but most is caused by developers encroaching on wetlands. Also the water runoffs from outdated sewer and drainage systems are more a part of the problem than CO2 emissions.

While runoff and sewage discharges are not unimportant, they are mostly confined to bays, rivers and tributaries. It is evident from this article that a more serious oceanic condition is responsible.A warning of what is yet to come if swift remedial measures are not taken by our arrogant and greedy race.If a concerted global effort is not forthcoming there will be no hope.

Hey Paul, I'm not arrogant and greedy, I just want to get to work. Should I walk. Paul, we just have too many people, so how do you plan to fix that?

Paul, you're wasting your time. There are so many ignorant, usually rightwing, inbred types who - without any ground to stand on - reject this science for no real reason other than because their leaders, fools like Bush, have told them to. Most people like that don't even realize that those same leaders are screwing them, too; they're too busy parroting the same things they hear them say on Fox news. It's too much fun calling Al Gore names or mocking global warming on South Park than to actually pay attention and give a crap. They won't care until it's too late.
