I hope he rots in HELL since he was a SCAB hired in 83 at the age of 35. Came straight from the Air Farce and STOLE a man's job while he was walking a picket line. Craig Lenell was not a good man. He was only out for himself and used every dirty trick in the book to promote his career at the expense of others. I also hope that he felt excruciating pain when he expired.
The only good SCAB is a dead SCAB.
My father had six kids to feed when your strike was going on. He was an amazing man and will always be. I am not mad seeing your words because I know you knew nothing about him, then or now. Suffice to say your vitriol speaks volumes to the hate and angst union members hold for anyone who does not agree with your view. My father was the kindest man I have EVER known. He was incapable of ever saying the things you do. He could never have hated someone he had never met, like you. I hope you find some peace. I miss my father very much. If you knew him, you would miss him too.

Is continental hiring? Have they opened a B-777 Captain bid already. I'm available.

I'm looking for my rightful position as a B-777 Captain at CO.

Has the company opened a B-777 bid yet for that pilots position?

Having been a SCAB at Eastern, I would be the best qualified pilot to replace him.

We are hiring. Sanitation engineers. You seem to be well qualified.

Nothing you wrote changes the FACT that your father STOLE another person's job. He didn't have any integrity.
Nobody becomes a SCAB without knowing the ramifications. I stand by every word I posted before. Every SCAB has an excuse as to why they did it. Now I know why there is a children of SCABS list.

Your premise is incorrect. My father earned that job and worked it for 32 years never missing a day. I can all but guarantee this is more than you can lay claim too. It's comical what you try to call a fact. I know many pilots other than my father. I don't know you but I know your type and I find it hard to believe you are a pilot. If you ever feel like discussing this in person I would be delighted, on several levels. Then again... your slogan does say "do unto others, then run". Very fitting.

What concerns me is why the co-pilot or anyone else would feel that it was appropriate for the pilot (or any other essential crew member) to be napping on the job! Hello - the guy was supposed to be flying the plane! I realize technology today is very advanced, what with autopilot, etc.- but technology, when hundreds of lives are at stake, needs to be monitored by humans, hence a PILOT being on board... His crew who thought he was sleeping and did not bother to WAKE HIM UP (or try to...) should be FIRED for stupidity if nothing else. For the love of God they might have been able to save the man had someone noticed him "nod" off... or where they ALL sleeping on the job??
FYI...He was unsavable. And whatever you read about the fo thinking he was sleeping was WRONG. The guy went into convulsions violently before he died. And just in case you are too ignorant to smell the coffee,we are human I think like you and we do get tired. A 15 to 20 nap while the other guy monitors is common and a safety thing. Stick with your basket weaving.

Hey Craig....I at the time was a Newark based 777 Captain. I knew the guy and and the fo and talked extensively with the fo about what happened. It pains me to see all this misinformation. The media really makes fools of its readers at times as such in this case.

No union member has ever been directly responsible for the demise of any corporation. I hope for the same fate on you as Mr. Lendell. Shanghailil = SCAB lover.
You obviously weren't paying attention to EAL when Charlie Bryan decided to forfeit 45,000 Eastern Airlines jobs to show the world he was tougher than Lorenzo.

Sometimes when you go for "all or nothing" you come up with nothing! Just ask the brain surgeons at AA and UA. For some reason you hard core Union types think you can act like a spoiled child or mafia thug to get the wage you think you deserve. Of course you have been brainwashed by your union to believe that the people who pay your salary are somehow your enemy and that the free market doesn't apply to you. 90% of American private workers manage quite well without a corrupt labor sindicate siphoning off huge dues payments in order to play their thuggish middleman.

This is the best forum discussion yet. Age 65 for pilots will be replaced soon with fly as long as you have a medical certificate. Or
"FLY til YOU DIE.
ALPA loves your dues even if your a SCAB.

His type? You mean the type that didn't scab? One thing you could not know if you are not a pilot is how your father was treated at work. Think Walking Dead. I would sooner dig horse crap than go thru what he (although he deserved it) went thru. If a scab fell asleep next to me in the cockpit I'd call him from the layover hotel to wake him, maybe. I take no joy in the fact he is dead but I'm happy I'll never have to fly with him!

I spoke to the FO and RO about the events when my father passed away. I spoke to the entire crew. I am not following you. You knew my father?

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aquarius

You won't like it if you feel your wings are being clipped today. You want to do something in particular, only to discover that someone is objecting to your plans or that circumstances beyond your control are standing in your way. Although your instincts tell you to throw a tantrum to get your point across, you must ask yourself what this will achieve, and whether it will actually be self-defeating.
