So by your logic it was ok for the terrorist to kill 2500 people by driving airplanes into a building? And then we should just have not reacted to that at all?
Don't tell me you still believe, despite all the evidence to the contrary, that Iraq had anything to do with 9/11? Please say it ain't so. Even Bush & Cheney reluctantly admit that (albeit under their breath, between speeches about terrorism).

<quoted text> This "stupid war" has freed a whole population from a dictator who killed several hundred thousands of his people. Many of them with nerve gas, a Weapon of Mass Destruction. Freed the women from subserviance. Allow children to attend school and given the people the right to vote. All things that they are very grateful to us for despite what the far left media want us to believe. This "stupid war" was voted on by 137 countries. As the planets only super power it is our responsibility and duty to give help when needed and asked for.
So let's just forget about Osama Bin Laden and what he did and spend millions of dollars a day keeping Iraq safe and sound. The American people were duped into this war by our Presidnet and Vice President with false and misleading intelligence, and now we are stuck in this boondoggle for who knows how long. Let's get back into Afghanistan and find the SOB that was responsible for 9/11 already.

Reading the threads confirms something, free speech is only for those who think about it, and that is about as far as you should go. My goodness, I am betting that accordingly only a certain mindset has a right to an opinion.

TOPIX could/should force every poster to read this before they can comment.......It would end a lot of my frustration!

Well, maybe not. The lesser me derives a sick pleasure from pointing out the stupidity of the Progressive Victim Party posters.
I could do without their "childlike" responses though.

Ignorance is excusable....it simply means one does not "know".

There is no excuse for stupidity. Stupid people are the ignorant that should know, have been told, and choose to remain ignorant.
Thus....the majority of the Progressive Victims Party posters.

W and his brand of "conservatives" make Liberals look FANTASTIC by comparison! Please, dear God, deliver us from any more "conservative" administrations.

I have never believed that demonstrations accomplish much of anything. There have been exceptions, but usually the people the demonstrators are trying to reach are simply angered and put off by the tactics, and harden their resolve NOT to take the actions the protestors are demanding. In a political environment, the time would be vastly better spent demanding substance from campaigns and getting out the vote.

This is not a new conviction -- I didn't see the point of all those demonstrations back in the 1960s, either. I once attended a meeting of the campus chapter of the Weathermen -- the leader chick was HOT! Hearing them rhapsodize over the upcoming protests and disruptions convinced me that I was indeed in the wrong place.

This is still a functional democracy -- use the ballot box!

I never said Iraq had anything to do with it. But to say that we somehow deserved to have that happen and should not take action against those responsible is lunacy.

Care to elaborate on this? When is the last time our freedom has been directly threatened???......I'd say the Revolutionary War sounds about right? You can take that false Patriotism elsewhere.
Are you stupid or willfully ignorant of history? It has to be one or the other.

These clueless idiots don't understand what their world would be like if the USA ran away from everyone and let the terrorists take over. Send them to Iraq and let them protest the cowardly terrorists that are killing our young men and the innocent civilians.

Tom Shakopee, I suspect YOU have a mental disorder. You sound like someone who belongs at the Ha-Ha Hilton. Shall I call and see if they have a room ready for you, sir?
