Some things are thought to be good merely because they are expensive. I hope these craft beers are not in that category, and that their taste and flavor justify the cost. At least your budget may limit how many you of these rather strong beers you have on an evening.
Decades ago I remember hearing that some American states allowed the sale only of weak beers. Perhaps this is still so.
