What about separation of church and state? If they want to act like this then we should take away their tax-exempt status and make them pay taxes.
The church is a business plain and simple. Tax them at the corporate tax rate.

Typical Christian…. It really does make you feel better when you tell some one they are damned, and you are not.

I heard it was some other very non Catholic activity that started AIDS...
But you have to say it is spread mostly by ways the church says it is against.
Not sure what you mean by "very non catholic activity".

Torture wasn't invented by the catholic church, but they were state of the art practitioners during the dark ages.

Burning people to death? Again, they didn't invent it, but they certainly could have written the "best practices" manual.

Other genocidal methods? The crusades. The priests who accompanied the conquistadores were certainly complicit in the mass killings of the Inca and Aztecs. While some dispute whether Hitler was the devout catholic he claimed to be, there's no doubt that many of the lower level functionaries who implemented the 'final solution' were catholics.

Assisting mass murderers? The Vatican was up to its ears in helping former Nazis escape justice in the immediate aftermath of WWII.

Buggering children and covering up and enabling the pederasts? Two words: Cardinal Law. Two more: Father Geoghan.

Running institutions that kept young women essentially in slavery, complete with beatings and other physical and mental abuse? The horrors of Ireland's Magdalene Laundries is an ongoing scandal, with new details still emerging.

If they are willing to do this, what activity could be so depraved as to be "un-catholic".

I think he means gay sex. You know a very "non-catholic" activity. Just ask father geoghan..or _______insert name of pedo priest here..too many to mention. All while Benard law looked the other way. The scandal was even worse in Ireland where there were a lot more victims.

I'm sorry but your assurances conflict with the stark reality of One Thousand, One Hundred years of
the dark ages when the Catholic Church held the whole European Continent in it's iron fist and people were burned alive for even the slightest disagreement with the church. Midwifes were tortured to death, peasants that were happier with their gentle nature religions were tortured til they converted,... or died.... I'm sure other readers could list many, many other horrors brought to us by the Catholic Church.....
Your insane defense of an insane belief just doesn't wash!
And if you try to claim that things have changed, just one word and it's use in the global political arena prove you wrong, "HOMOPHOBIA"
So you atre defending Chairman Mao now...
Glad to see you know your priorities.
What next...peaceful Islam?

It is really sad that many are so busy attempting to prove that they are right that they fail to comprehend the simple reality of our existence.

This Cosmos is an infinite form of Consciousness that some call The Tao, some call God, and some call LOVE.

It is an egalitarian arrangement that allows for the spiritual growth of all of us.

The exciting news today is that with the invention of the hologram in 1947 we are about to make a quantum leap in grasping the unifying factor of LOVE that is the foundation of our existence.

Your biblical proofs for your insanity will soon come to naught.

Why not admit your error now and embrace the reality of who you really are?

Here is a short text file on a simple meditation on waking up to your true nature:

remember, there is no room for truth when your consciousness is full of hate!

Just sitting here thinking about what it would be like if we all woke up one morning and could not connect to the internet to get our morning news, if we turned on tv and all stations played except the news or just a government station. Anyone every thought of that. Plus, Remember the story in the Bible about the tower of Babal, when the people decided to build a tower to heaven? God said "No you won't" and made people speak all different languages and they scattered. There was no more solidarity How is that different from the diversity that is being pushed now. Come here, don't assimilate, don't speak the English language, staying loyal to the country you orginated from and on and on. Someone brought this to my attention a long time ago. I was just thinking of it this morning.

If you mean brother killing brother again. That's not going to happen. I have to have faith and hope that it won't. That would be the worse thing that could ever happen to this country again, only this time it could be door to door rather than north and south. We have a chance to Unite again as a nation and make things right. We must use the time we have before the next election to do that. We must!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 5

Libra

Your social life has a lot to offer under the Leo Moon and it would be a shame to spend too much time on your own. Venus, your life-ruler, in the sign of the Archer, is outgoing and jovial, but you're keen to make a serious effort with people you aren't normally all that keen on. Take them in your stride, and look on the bright side. There's always something to like about anyone!
