What a travesty of justice. This is the first time I have heard of him. My prayers are with him.
Clearly we are in the last days. The people don't understand that we are losing are basic freedoms.
This illustrates it perfectly. God bless him and his family.

As sorry luck would have it, owing to a perfect storm in which I not only lost my entire home directory but the offsite backups were corrupted, I also lost the entirety of my Armstrong library.

However, the good news is that Martin's work appears to be coming back in view on the web, and he's also starting to author new work, as well. Perhaps one of the more interesting pieces is his commentary about Goldman Sucks and what went on "behind the curtain": http://www.scribd.com/doc/14227076/B...he-Cur...

We all read in this log the report of a physical attack on Martin and it appears it was quite deliberate as he now reports it in public. He's plainly now drawn the reasonable conclusion that was just another attempt to shut him down, and may now have growing concern for his own safety as day of his release comes closer.

[ For any who may be put off by such an unlikely coincidence, I'm NOT related to Tancred Schiavoni, presumably a Sicilian whose first name got handed down to him as a left-handed legacy of the era of rule of that island by Norman nobles who were direct descendants of Tancred D'Hauteville.]

I came to basically the same conclusion as Armstrong and Kondratieff, that there are regular business cycles and cycles of civil unrest and war, like other people also of course.

But I think they are not extremely accurate and regular, maybe that's where his trading losses came from? For example, if you buy a stock at 10 and your system predicts it will rise but first it goes to 8 or even to 2, like with the junior miners november 2008, then you have to hold the stock. This is possible.

If you trade futures or forex you have to pay each evening that you are wrong, if you take a big position at 10 and then it goes to 8 and further you can be in a-lot-of-trouble.

Eventually all traders that do well end up in futures, forex and eventually a lot of them screw up. This is for a great part because you only get your buzz from bigger and bigger positions.

So what I suspect is that Armstrong also fell in this trap, didn't really commit a fraud but tried to borrow money from accounts to take positions to try to make up for losses in previous positions where he put in too much money.

To me this seems to be the most logical explanation only there's this talk of gold bars and art, this doesn't make sense.

I read some more and maybe my previous comment was not correct.

In my opinion there's only one thing we can do to make this earth a better, more stable, place, have societies with small governments, it's the key to everything. Can we do this?

I don't know, probably someday in the future with smarter people, and people seem to get smarter.

Beg to differ. The "religious differences" between North and South are mostly flapdoodle. Some of the most fervently religious areas of the country are outside of the South and most of the South, while more religious on average, is as focussed on economics as much as anywhere else. There are also a good number of areas in "the South" that are about as religious as a stock car gathering or backyard barbecue.

No, it will once again be nothing more than competition for money that brings about secession and/or dissolution. Again. The legendary greed and corruption of banking centers in New York is nothing new -- and indeed very old -- but now just a bit more obviously exposed than usual, right along with their even more obvious "deep capture" of the fundamental levers of government power.

Watch California, which is now issuing it's own version of fiat funny money IOUs for lack of officially approved Federal fiat funny money IOUs. The only difference between these two forms of currency is one of sovereignty, not substance. If governments of the various states suffering financial implosion figure this out, we could be living in some very interesting times.

I too worked with Marty back in 1984 for about one year, he taught me things about stamps and coins that i never again heard from other neusmatic or phalitalists. I also worked with tony conte and agree fully on what Tony has said in this article. I am only 41 years old and was only 16 when i first met marty, but he was always a professional, caring and down to earth fellow. The man is so smart i think he could run along side with Einstine.!! hurricanephilip@AOL

He was sentenced for fraudulent financial activities, some of which another financial services company paid out 589 million in fines. He was not innocent. He was spearheading an estimated 700 million dollar Ponzi scheme. He is a hypocrite whom did not "predict" any financial disaster that any others involved in this corruption did not see prior to his 2008 writings. The reason credit swap defaults and derivatives had the popularity they did PRIOR to hi writings, is that the wheels were already in motion to defunct the system. It takes a crook to see a crook I suppose.
His incessant whining of innocence in the face of already existent corruption is a guilty mans plea. Anyone involved in a Ponzi scheme, be it government or private industry, should be sentenced to the same term as he did. DEAL WITH IT!

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Libra

It's one of those difficult days when anything can and will happen. Someone you were relying on might let you down, plans could be changed at the eleventh hour or a machine could go on the blink. To make matters worse, your energy levels are very erratic, so you feel full of beans one minute and ready to go to sleep the next. Don't make the situation worse by eating foods that give you a high followed by a slump.
