What we do have is an agreement that George R. was born in Mexico and we can agree that George R. left the USA long before he was born because they did not want to live in the USA and we can agree they left and had no intention of returning to the USA again.
Are you truly *that* stupid? If his parents decided to become citizens of Mexico, then when George was born, he would've been a MEXICAN, and that article would not have said he was a U.S. Citizen. Obviously George's parents retained their U.S. Citizenship.

Prove they didn't, and then you can write the author of that article and tell them George was actually Mexican and not a U.S. Citizen. You won't be able to prove they renounced their U.S. Citizenship, because they didn't.

That article is not the arbitrator, Kneepads.

We do know that George R. was born in Mexico.

We do know his parents left the USA long before he was born.

We do know his parents left the USA and had no intention of ever coming back to the USA.

We do know you have no evidence to prove that they were citizens of the USA, if they (George R.s parents) were, they were immigrants themselves, and they left.

At the time George R. was born he was certainly more Mexican than US citizen...

I don't have to write anyone, Kneepads.

You seem to think you meet the burden of proof by finding someone else on the internet who you think might agree with what you have said.

Putting aside that as I have already proved you have problems with the distinctions of quote and paraphrase.

Thanks for posting proof that ***YOU*** lied, Kneepads.

Thanks for showing everyone that you paraphrase what I said into something you think I said, or you just flat out lie.

To review, what I said exactly was:

(quote)
There is no requirement to be a citizen of the USA to run for US senate, Kneepads HAHAHAAHAHAH!
(end quote)

and I said (exactly) that in response to you asserting that running for senate was somehow "proof" of US citizenship.

HAHAHAAHAH!

And now you are rolling around on the floor, screaming and whining and crying that I am denying the requirements to be a US Senator.

Thanks for providing the proof you lied, Kneepads.

Everyone but you seems to understand that Romney's family retained their U.S. citizenship, even though they moved to Mexico. Moving out of a country does not strip someone of their citizenship.

Quote:
2. Romney's father was born in Mexico
The candidate's late father, two-term Michigan Gov. George Romney, was born in a Mormon colony in Mexico in 1907. George Romney's parents were U.S. citizens, so he was, too.

Obviously?

George R.'s parents left Utah (which wasn't even a state) for Mexico with no intention of ever returning (and they did not) because they did not like US laws.

And you have not yet provided proof they were US citizens in the first place.

You are beyond stupid. YOU CANNOT RUN FOR U.S. SENATE IF YOU ARE NOT A CITIZEN. Thus, that damn well *would* be proof that someone is a citizen. AND, you *did* state that there is no requirement to be a citizen in order to run for Senate.

All that proves is YOU lied, not me. Oh no, actually, it also proves you have the comprehension level of a dead vole.

You try to backpedal now, but you can't.

Read the book: The Story of George Romney by Tom Mahoney. He did all the research and in his book he says that the Romneys retained their U.S. Citizenship.

You have proven nothing other than your own comprehension problems and lying abilities, as well as your backpedaling, twisting, turning, and changing things.

No, it doesn't, because with the Treaty of Hidalgo, the U.S. recognized people living on those lands as U.S. Citizens if they so desired, and even if they didn't desire, as long as a year had passed and they didn't state they wanted to be Mexican.

Are you saying the Treaty of Hidalgo doesn't matter? Because this country certainly thinks it does.

BUSH IS THE ONE THAT DID THE BOWING AND HELD HANDS WITH THE SAUDI OF ARABIA. STUPID REPUBLICANS THEY ARE SUCH LOSERS!!!![/QUOTE]

You must have been high when you wrote this mess. You never ever seen Bush bow to any foreign country or say Americans are hateful people. Sounds like Obama will learn not to tell the people one thing and do NOTHING WHEN HE HAS BEEN IN OFFICE. His first 2 years was "PLAYING ROCK STAR" and not doing a good job at it - when he was not doing his rock star impression he was on vacation with all his staff and family spending tax payers money - he never had the time to fix the budget. He is a joke - not a president.

His parents, at least his father, had no choice but to leave the U.S., as he was a CHILD and his parents (George Romney's GRANDPARENTS) were the ones who made the decision to leave the country. George Romney's father was born HERE, in the U.S. and left along with his parents.

Everything you read says they lived in an American Colony of Mormons in Mexico. You'd have to be an idiot to insist they became Mexicans and renounced their U.S. Citizenship. Then again, we all already know you're an idiot.

Don't need to.

What we need to know here is: George R. was born in Mexico.

His parents left USA long before he was born with no intent to return.

They left because they did not want to obey US laws.

There is no such thing as an "American" colony in Mexico.

There are ex-Americans living in Mexico, and as we know if these ex-Americans back in the 1860s + could have, they would have made their own country not unlike as was done in Texas.

Thanks for confirming his parents left (and obviously his parents made that choice to leave the USA, or, the Utah territory, Utah not being a state) the USA and as we know: they had no intention of ever coming back.

Whether or not George R. had a choice of where he was born was of course ridiculous, especially when people like you Kneepads are trying to make a case for Obama ties being any less than Mitt's claim to be an American.

LMAO! You really DID fail U.S. History! Bet you wish you weren't down on your knees during that class.

I already provided you with a link. There is no statute. There doesn't have to be. IT IS IN THE CONSTITUTION... Article I, Section 3.

Once again:

http://www.senate.gov/civics/constitution_ite...

Quote:
No Person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty Years, and been nine Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State for which he shall be chosen.
End Quote

Please have someone read it to you this time, as well as explain it, since you obviously cannot comprehend it.
