Yes this is a long post! No this is not copy and pasted (well it is, but only from my word processor) This is an original piece, and if you appreciate the effort, reward with green. More importantly though, BOYCOTT GOOGLE!
==========
Google’s motto is “do no evil” which is high and lofty goal for a multi-billion dollar corporation to live up to. At first I thought there might be some truth to their position, but as time has elapsed it has become very apparent that it is nothing more than a clever PR move which has worked very effectively. However, despite their vow, it has become obvious that Google is not special, and just like every other huge corporate entity, they
* 1 - Google is Becoming a Monopoly. At this point Google almost has an effective monopoly on the search industry. Currently, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission is investigating Google on allegations of anti-trust practices. There are multiple reasons why this is bad for you, the consumer. At this point, if Google bans a website because it objects to the sites content, that site has now been effectively banned from the internet. With full control of the internet’s search engine, comes the ability to determine exactly what sites are allowed to be seen. As the masses continue to use Google, they give them the power to selectively censor and bury any website without checks and balances. Google is not yet an official monopoly, but essentially the only way to stop them is through a large boycott of their services.
* 2 - Google is a Marketing Company. Another strong reason not to use Google’s search engine, is the fact that they are first and foremost a marketing company. Google retains all their data, and use it to build comprehensive profiles on it’s users, in order to better serve advertisements to them. Reread the sentence now, but insert “XYZ Spyware Company” in place of “Google” Wouldn’t you stop using XYZ Spyware Company’s product if it was apparent they were mining your personal data, selling it to advertisers, and targeting ads designed to match your profile. If you think that’s an inaccurate depiction, realize that Google recently bought Doubleclick, who are not incorrectly labeled as the world’s largest spyware company. Google wants to sell you to their advertisers, and by continuing to use their search services, you’re letting them do just that.
* 3 - GMail (Unreliable, Insecure, & Spyware). GMail recently lost a bunch of people’s email. This is especially troubling for those that use GMail for their record keeping and business uses, where each email has the potential to not only be critical, but also financially and legally critical. Another reason not to use GMail, is the fact that even if you delete an email, Google still keeps it indefinitely. Not only does that have privacy implications, but what happens when/if the GMail database gets hacked and stolen? Credit card numbers, passwords, bank account numbers, and confidential material will be lost and/or stolen. In addition, Google scans the content of all your email and uses the text in the email to serve you contextual ads. Again, sounds like a neat way to say “spyware.
* 4 - Google’s Privacy Policies. Google has the lowest possible grade from Privacy International, a watch dog organization based in London. Google’s privacy policies have been described “an endemic threat to privacy” by the group,
* 5 - The Invasive Google Toolbar. The Google Toolbar is bundled with many applications (Adobe products, Java, Firefox, etc) from numerous vendors, usually with the checkbox to install the toolbar checked by default, much in the same way other malware and malicious toolbars are spread. Users who use the toolbar can also opt-in to Google’s spyware data collection service that records every website they visit. Although it’s still opt-in, the fact that many software publishers are paid to slip in the Google toolbar along with their software is what makes this suspicious.

Dear Americans,

Please forgive me Sirs to trouble you many times.

Please raise Dow!
Please construct factories in the U.S.!
Please hire Americans!
Please buy American!
Please export American-products!

The U.S. must be the largest creditor-nation in the world ever in world-history!
The U.S. must have 5-Trillion-dollar-trade-surplu s per year and 5-Trillion-dollar-current-acco unt-surplus per year!
The minimum-wage of Americans must be $70,000 per year per person!
The jobless-rate of the U.S. must be 2%!
Dow must be $20,000!

The U.S. must make cars, ships, steel, PCs, airplanes, and home-electric-appliances in the U.S., and the U.S. must export those cars, ships, steel, PCs, airplanes, and home-electric-appliances from the U.S. to the world!

The U.S. and American-companies must monopolize all the markets all over the world, in order to make the U.S. the richest!

And, so, in order to achieve them, please lower dollar-value!

I love the U.S.A.!
I love all Americans!

Very sincerely yours,

Lets get this straight:
Isn't ADDING jobs good? Is 69,000 jobs bad?
Unlike LOSING jobs under Bush?
AND, FYI, the stock market goes UP and DOWN...and are based on WORLD numbers...not just the U.S.
So if Europe is doing bad, it reflects.
Does Obama get credit from the stock market going UP the past couple years, reversing Bush's mess?
Or...does he only get blame when it goes down?
lol

MOSTLY:
I LOVE THIS CHANGE!!!
Love it love it...and everyone I know is voting for Obama...again:)

Can you really name something BAD Obama has done? Worse than what republicans have done to this country?

Obama saved us from economic collapse, saved the auto industry, highest oil production in 8 years, jobless rate down, pulled troops from Iraq, foreclosures down, and got Bin Laden!
Is that bad?
You don't like that change?
WOW!

Republicans started TWO wars, one was a LIE, killed our own people, caused a recession, and the largest terrorist attack on American soil happens on republicans watch..after being warned:)
...and the repubs want us to hand the keys over again?
NOPE!

This isn't about what Romney can do, nor is it about that Obama has done, this is a result of the conspiracy on going in Congress engineered by the GOP.
The GOP gave a detailed preview of their agenda, to ensure that this President fails.
51 Filibusters, and straight "No" votes on moving the economy forward via funding of the Transportation Bill or any other jobs bill offered by Democrats or proposed by Obama.
Their aim is understandable, but the results are crushing American citizens who are laid off and eliminated from improving their lots that would be available with those jobs that the transportation bill would produce. Also, the spending cuts the GOP has forged has resulted in the massive lay off of 600,000 public services workers over the last two years.
The GOP was clear about their intentions Republicans would rather sit in shit than to see any improvement in employment and the economy under this president.
The politicians engineering this catastrophe are not missing pay days, it's their constituents who are carrying the burden of their agenda.
So happens that the GOP prevails, their policies will further stew their constitutes. Things aren't bad now, for those whom the GOP carries the interest the markets are producing record earnings and incomes, things are only bad in America for some 13 million wage earners laid off. They aren't going to get better as there is nobody in power that has their interest in mind. "Let em Eat Cake" now and forever.
If you can't go out on your own and find a means to earn an affordable income that's your problem, make due with what you have.
Republicans believe those living in poverty should be happy to live in poverty in America. Poverty in America is any income level below $34,000

Oops....romney backed solar firm tanks:

In January 2003, just less than three weeks into his term as governor, Romney handed a check to Konarka executives during a news conference that also involved giving out subsidies to four other renewable energy companies. One of the other winners announced that day — Evergreen Solar — has already undercut Romney's Solyndra attacks by filing last year for bankruptcy protection.

I have watched my country slowly sink like a dinosaur in a tar pit for a lot of years. I have a lot of memories to pull from - a time when we were, for the most part, a much better place than we are now.
I have also lived through a half a century plus of watching my government lie over and over and over again. I'd like to say I know where it started, but, just from reading history, I think political corruptness goes back much farther than any of us could remember.
I do know we seemed to have started down the slippery slope during the mid 70's. I think seeing a president resign over scandal due to political sabotage and a vice president resign due to allegations of money laundering and tax evasion was the end of the innocence for the American people. We realized we could no longer trust in those we elect to office.
Everything has simply gone downhill from there. And it's my personal opinion that probably every crisis within our government (and probably within our nation) has probably been manufactured within the walls of the Capital.
Our government lied to us in order to involve us in Vietnam. Rumors have it our leaders may have lied to us about Pearl Harbor. Who really killed the Kennedys? Was MLK's assassination really random? Doubts swirl around the government's story of 9/11. Politicians seems to have no scruples. They ARE, without doubt, THE most self-serving people on earth. They will, and have, lied and used their position to better themselves at the expense of our country and those who voted for them.
We grant our leaders incredible power, with which they all seem to abuse. They can be easily bought and sold on the political auction block. While the American people still have the ability to vote between the lesser of two evils, we have no power to speak of. We can change nothing without upheaval and protests and anger. Our leaders do not hear us, they do not give us the opportunity to vote on national issues. They simply make the decisions and we follow them... and that includes sending our children into battles that do nothing but make politicians and their friends very wealthy. They take our money and give us nothing in return. They manipulate our thinking and call us un-patriotic or radical is we question their decisions.
I feel a revolution in America isn't far off. It doesn't matter who is president. Americans are angry and simply changing horses isn't going to make that anger go away. Our government has lost our trust...and that's one of the hardest things to win back.
Well Done!

I too have entertained the possibility of a complete breakdown in society resulting in chaos. Unlike the French Revolution, the 'peasants' are armed, and know whom to blame for their difficulties.

Voting doen't matter anymore. The government is owned and controlled by BB and the super rich.

Prediction:
The next major offensive launched by the US Military will be against the American people.

1. racist
2. uneducated
3. racist AND uneducated
4. gullible
5. brainwashed

You can identify them easily. Just ask them to explain their position. Ask them to back up what they say with real facts - not those from Billy Bob's "I hate Obama" blog. Ask them to explain to you why they think as they do.

They can't. All they know is how to be juvenile and ignorant.

This is an moronic assumption designated for idiots to repeat. ROFLMAO....... Congress since the 2009 Stimulus hasn't approved any spending legislation.

How as funding been distributed?

Explain how that is possible, what's the procedure for a President to by pass Congress to spend funds from the Treasury without signed Legislation?

ROFLMAO.........

Article 1
SECTION 9.
Clause 7

No money shall be drawn from the treasury, but in consequence of appropriations made by law; and a regular statement and account of receipts and expenditures of all public money shall be published from time to time.

How was the elevation in spending performed?

ROFLMAO........ Where did the money come from?

The Spending was a result of the GOP and President Bush spending levels set in 2007 that caused and continues to create the $1 Trillion Dollar Deficits.... There has been on Budget approved by Congress since 2007

So what do you suggest?
I don't doubt anything you said, but I'm not sure what we're supposed to do. I mean, there ARE things that could be done but there is NO politician in his/her right mind who would do them.
We're already deporting people at record numbers, but they just come back. Not to mention we have every charitable organization and church group sponsoring immigrants from every country in the world. We have untold numbers of people who are here on expired Visas and no one even knows where they are.
No politician is going to close the door on immigration. No politician is going to change the statute that gives citizenship to babies born here. No politician is going to deport the parents of said baby born here. No politician is going to build a 'Berlin Wall' between the U.S. and Mexico. And if our country ever has another housing/construction boom I can promise you that no politician will stand in the way of millions of foreigners coming here as cheap labor.
I can only hope that we can all get along. We didn't cause this issue...even the immigrants didn't cause the issue. It was caused by those we've elected...not just presently, but in the past, as well.
I will say this. We Americans have perfect 20/20 hindsight. I daresay, had any president made moves to restrict immigration years ago there would have been a serious uproar in our country. "Everyone's an immigrant." "Give us your poor...yearning to breathe free...." blah, blah, blah. OK, so we reap what we sow. Now we have every poor person from Mexico to the tip of Argentina breathing free and NOW we're seeing that wasn't such a great idea.
Immigration is kind of a moot issue because no one is going to do anything about it.
I really don't know what we could do, todays politicians will not do what needs to be done, thier loyalty is not to America or the American people.
I will say what i think and i don't care who likes it, i don't base my opinions on pleasing everybody or what is politically correct, i base them on common sense.
America is changing, it is no longer a predominate European monolithic nation, the traditions and commonality that once held us together is being swamped with a influx of people who are totally different than us, and there is nothing wrong that they are different from us, but they are not good for us no more than we were good for them, just ask the indians in North, central or South America how we were good for them when we first arrived on these shores.
People from Mexico/South America, The Middle East and Asia all have thier own societies, laws, customs and traditions and belief systems that have worked for them for better or worse.
What you see happening today in the US is also happening in Europe, the native populations are being replaced with a outside population, the US with latinos and Europe with Muslims.
The problem with the US today is we have become socially weak, pampered by all the modern conveniences, afraid to stand up for our heritage and people, afraid to be labeled a bigot or racist.
Do you see the Chinese, Japanese, Nambians or Iranians or anyone else allowing themselves to be invaded by mass immigration? No you don't because they know cohesiveness is what makes them strong, connected with a common goal of survival for thier culture and people.
We are in trouble, we have allowed this to happen because of our complacency and our lack of testicles to do anything about it.
Do i think we are doomed with no way out? No i don't, but i think it is going to be a deadly violent future where our children and grandchildren will think back and say: What the hell did they {us} sit there and allow this to happen for?
