Oneida man accused of strangling kitten in front of children

he should not have let the kids see him do it.but nothing wrong with a little pest control in private

What the man did, if he truly did it, is horrible and should be punished! But like many others have said they are trying to sentence him to 20+ years when murderers and rapist walk in a few years. Doesn't make since. How can it be wrong to shoot a man or kill a kitten and yet be alright to murder an innocent baby?!?!?! The situation is sad and horrific but what makes it better/worse than say murder/rape/abortion?!?!?

this is just the newest thing in a long line of crimes he has comited.that is why he is being punished

okay...i too have known daron for years! do i believe he did this...HELL YEAH! as far as "the drugheads" that hang out in that trailer park...HE IS ONE OF THEM!

also, he's having a child? this makes him somehow different? was he not just in the paper a couple of weeks ago on drug charges? i think it was selling pain pills. i've also witnessed what he and his buddies, like dustin slaven, do in front of children, including dustin's daughter savanah. trust me...his having a child isn't going to change him anymore than the two that dustin has have changed him. hell, dustin just lost his job at the nursing home for stealing pain patches off one of the elderly patients!

forget the kitten...i feel sorry for this poor child about to be brought into the world with a "trailer park drughead" for a father.

of course, the court system in scott county will probably act on this. this is the same system that took savanah from her maternal grandmother after her mother drowned, where she was safe, loved, and not being exposed to "drugheads" and gave her to her father who is a known drug user. now, her paternal grandmother, who did such a BANG UP job with dustin, is raising her.

but hey...let's talk about the kitten!!

Dont feel bad for that kid.. cuz my mom and i will MAKE SURE that it has everything it needs or wants.. as for my brother.. he has made alot of crappy decisions.. but what right is it of yours to run ur mouth about it.. any of ur business??? HELL NO IT ISNT.
and it isnt the parents fault of how their children act.. me and my brother were raised by the same people.. i work full time.. have a full scholarship to college where im gettin my RN degree.. and have NEVER done a drug in my life.. so it really has nothin to do with the parents.. they can b good or bad.. its the path YOU chose..
and honestly how would u feel if ur kid was on here bein talked about like this.. i pray to god my mom dont read this.. cuz she has enough to deal with .. without dumbass welfare cases with nothin better to do on here talkin trash about her son! i know you, also...and you're right. the two of you are different as night and day. at no point did i say anything about your mother or how she raised daron! i simply said what i know.

but as for it being anybody's business...if it's in the news, guess what...it's our business. if you don't want to be talked about, you don't do stupid things and make stupid choices where you end up on the news, which he has done NUMEROUS times just in the past couple of months. and i THINK at this point your mom is fully aware of how daron is. she's not an idiot. he was on WBIR! i could go into some choices and things that she did that have enabled him...but i choose to leave that alone. you don't seem to understand you're talking to somebody who actually knows your family.

as for welfare cases...honey, how were you raised? i have already put myself through school and the only check i draw is the one i earn each week. i don't do stupid things so that i have to defend how my parents raised me. the way i have turned out speaks for itself.

well i dont know him but i do know him girlfriend really REALLY well and i do know he is on drugs because he went to jail for selling her pain meds and got caught.if his girlfriend reads this GET OUT NOW!!!be for you lose your baby boy and i hope he has got bigger.love ya girl

i'm pretty sure everybody has "skeletons" in their closets. at no point did i claim to be perfect! why would i tell you who i am? i haven't put myself in any kind of position for my life to be anyone's business. i'm not on the news or in the papers!! i can PROMISE you i have never even been arrested!!

quite honestly, i don't care enough about this to keep arguing with you about it. i truly hope you are right about daron, especially since he is a father now. i wish he would change his life. i actually wish that everyone who is a victim of drug abuse could turn their lives around!!

first,what do you mean staying clean to find a job? you can't find a job sitting on you ass not going out to find one.they don't come to you you have to go find them.and as for taking care of peggy and her baby who buy's diapers and wipes for that baby?not you.who keeps peggy up in her smokes?again not you.she has to call around and ask for money to buy these things and more.so get up off your dead ass and get a job and take care of them.her mommy and daddy are also going to be around to help her out that is your job now!!! here a while back did'nt you go to jail for selling peggy's pain pills? man what a loser
