You speak many truths. But.....she is feisty and continues to act like she did way, way back when she could attract. It's kinda hard to fathom that a Texas country girl from her generation could be so liberal. Can't help but wonder what happened. Musta been acquirin' and movin' to River Oaks...among all those phonies and pretend rich.
FEISTY, yes, I am, have been told so MANY times in my life. BTW, FWIW, I was in school, the one and same with Jaclyn Smith, I was told last week by someone they thought I was looking a little better than she.(blushing!) FWIW if I were LOOKING for a man I would go for more of the Rick Springfield type. I do not see you as that type. More like a Rush Limbaugh look-a-like with more "pound-age". Hi is a dear friend, nothing more. His children and MINE know that I will never cross that line, after all he is a REPULICAN. CTS.(VERY LOUDLY!)

I did not "MOVE" to River Oaks, BS, I LIVE in the home my Grandfather bought my MOTHER when she married my father. It was a gift to her because he wanted their family to live in a nice part of town, not redneck heaven. My Mother BTW was from back East, my Father was from the Hill Country, his family has been a fixture in Central Texas for well over 100 years. His work after the military brought him to Houston. Now, I am so "liberal" because I feel that before we spend hard earned taxpayer dollars for the special interest of a few mega millionaires, h*llbent on "liberating" nations with oil and mineral deposits, who have no interest in our help or our values is nothing less than a waste. This war should have been won, a LONG time ago. Yet, that is just it, the GOP bunch in office for eight years did not want to win this war. It is not about terrorism, it is about oil and greed. Plain and simple. God forbid what happened in Fort Hood is just the start, it won't be a Muslim next time it will be someone from the heartland of the USA. It will be someone who is tired of watching their buddies go off to die. We have United States Citizens HERE, on US soil who WILL work, need jobs, need to educate their children and keep themselves and their families healthy. I am TIRED of seeing United States Citizens looked down on and denied certain rights because a few who claim to be religiously superior want to dictate to EVERYONE else what is acceptable, ignoring on color, religion, sexsual preference, or national origin. When you start excluding people who are citizens and cutting people out of their rights, it is not long before they start looking to do the same to you in another form. So before we start invading other nations and telling them how to run a nation, I think we need to get our own affairs in order. I have NEVER fit into ANYONES fixed "box" that they would like to place me in. That is for people like you, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, and those in sheets and other affiliations. I care not to be in the company of those who follow those values.
Well said Jet.

Watch who you call dense gramps. BTW, fWIW, my tax dollars paid your salary. I ended up teaching one of my kids how to read, then sent him to private school where he got an education. Can I get a tax refund since you did not do YOUR job. Just curious.

Not really, it is just a reflection of the continued downward slide of the US Dollar since BC left office.
From a mfg point of view, not necessarily a bad thing. Might just bolster our economy a bit, making American goods more attractive to the rest of the world. Doesn't do me or other foreign travelers any good at all tho. ;-(

While your pitcher is posted on this thread, for some reason I see you more like an aging, feisty, somewhat hostile, Susan Boile or Lillian Carter; probably more like the latter. Jacklyn Smith is/was before my time. I do share SOME of the conservative views of Rush, Glen and Ann, but looks-wise....lean & mean, trim and fit, ready for whatever comes down the pike. No offense.

BS if your willing to go hunt him down please forward the EXACT address. There is a gentleman here in Houston, who had a fourteen year old daughter, he would like to have a little talk with him. BTW number two is happily married to a Flight Attendant....yet again for almost twenty years now. So...there is more than ONE survivor, can the women you date live to tell the tale. CTS. A gentleman....yeah tell me another one.
Hey...I don't do pro bono work. Plus, that gentleman likely has suffered enough, really paid for his faux pas and marital stint; and is about as close to River Oaks as he cares to be would be my guess.

Yes I agree that it may help out exports, but it will hurt the middle class; i.e. the recent increase of the price of petroleum products, and I doubt if wages will keep up with it.
BC had the last sound economic polices of this country. B43 had not a clue, and as so much fanfare for the Republicans being the party of business, they sure do ruin a good economy, and run one successfully.
Conserve that!

Today ol'Rush blamed Obama for Fort Hood, which is not suprising at all. But ......... if he wants to blame a administration, should not be the Cheney/Bush team that should be blamed. I mean it was under his time that the Major USARMY presented his veiwpoints to his superiors?
I also think these superior officers should be court martialed for derilection of duty. They should have removed him.
Nah! Those so-called officials were BC appointees tryin' to be politically correct; and he was emboldened by the current office-holder entourage and the last election. They did not wish to cause this poor major/muslim any harm to his taxpayer enhanced medical/military career. The signals from above were mixed and garbled....they had to remain loyal to the wacko whims of the far left to stay in uniform. Dubya was not well served by many of those he inherited from the BC admin; many of whom were planted there by Billary while BC pursued other interest, i.e., ML et al. I know you did not serve in the military, but try to enjoy this holiday earned with the blood, sweat and tears of those who did, and those now serving. Have a great Veterans' Day!

It's all in her head. FWIW, I saw that ole liberal, Dan I'd Rather, on HD net recently, broadcasting in HD from that new truck stop at Carl's Corner, Texas on I-35, questioning a group of truckers about the truckin' bidness.

What? No mid ranking Officers are POTUS appointees. The failure can simply summed up in what you NEOCONS say when you critcize a goverment program as you all do in argueing about healthcare, public schools, the USPOST Office, and etc; That the goverment does a lousy job of running anything incluiding their own house and these unwinnable wars.

I think John Kerry is quite the hypocrite considering his stance against the Vietnam War, and now his unwavering support for the Wars now. I think these wars are even more futile than the Vietnam War.

Incidentially, a couple of USNAVY ships just had a port of call in Vietnam. Yeah, that Domino Theory really worked out well, didn't it?

Deja Vu - the Mideast.

Didn't imply mid-ranking officers were direct political appointees, but ole BC, especially Billary, delved much deeper in the ranks of LE, Intelligence and the military than many people know.....thus the superior rank held by females in those outfits now days. Was not the major/muslim's boss further up the chain-of-command a female general? And was not the BG in charge of Abu Graib, and screwed up the works, a female? Hey....the Post Office is a shining example of just how efficiently the gov't can run an operational agency. GSA is another one, but a low-profile one that gets little notice. OPM is yet another....the list goes on and on.

Let the @ss-coverin', lyin' and scapegoatin' begin. Those with rank, civilian and military, who are culpable are runnin' like rats and pulling political strings to save their bacon. That's just the way it works.
