Two women dead in Lowell stabbings

There's alot to like about Lowell!

Who are these losers to silence this man that had the balls to assist the police?
God forbid if this were a member of their family, would they want anyone to be silenced?
Hopefully the police will find out who is responsible.

I agree. What losers they are to silence him. Are they afraid of something? Grow a set already.

Should residents be scared ? Was this personal or just random and now there is a murderer out running the streets. I think the residents should get more info. Were these people targeted or what? I live in the middle of all this and i am terrified .

Not that I think Captain Johns is a great place to hang out, but they weren't silencing the guy from talking to the police, they silenced him from talking to the newspaper.

There was also a double stabbing on Bridge Street near Arthur's diner last night. And a fight at Ivy Hall . And I think there was a big fire someplace. Lowell cops has their hands full yesterday. As for the people that refused to talk. Shame on them. If they want a better life then they need to step up to the plate and tell what they know. They are contributing to the problem.

A dive bar full of rejects and you want them to talk.. They would have to stash their drugs first

These people probably would have had a chance if lowell had a competent ambulance service. Trinity has no chance now. With all the recent loss of employees, they've been putting anyone on a truck. Get use to an increase in fatalities people

how would commenting to a lowell sun reporter help in catching a murderer?

it doesn't say anything about assisting the police... i love when people add their own ideas to the words that are printed....

You talk to LPD. You become prime suspect, and convicted of a crime you did not commit. LPD can fabricate evidence and convict the Pope if they choose to do so.

I have no doubt that yesterday's stabbing on Westford St. and Butman Place are related. A man still alive and two women dead? Hmmmm... make me wonder.

Regarding to Lisa You shouldnt have to live in fear The LPD are fine bunch of workers and should have this case solved within the next year or two

That bar and neighborhood is completely infested with losers. There have been murders in that bar amongst other things people don't even speak of. That place draws the sleaziest crowd and drugs like you wouldn't believe. Go inside and see for yourself. Bunch of losers. Is this so surprising in that area? A 3:45 PM Stabbing indicates a twenty four hour bender with complete inebriation and poor judgement.

Come down to Lowell, Massachusetts and spend the rest of my days right there.....

They can't formulate sentences anyway. How could their word be substantiated in a court of law, CJ's all the way.

I think this is a big deal too. They have have known something they have already told the police and the police don't want the info coming out yet. Little things coming out too early can completely ruin their investigation.
