The school system doesnt care - remember "we leave no child behind" :)

If they have a fake social security number, their name and ss# wouldn't match up on their credit report. Without a valid credit report, you can't get a mortgage. So NO, many of them don't own homes. The real estate bust were everyday "Americans" that signed up for something that 1) they had no clue what they were signing and 2)was way beyond their means. DON'T blame the illegals for the real estate bust, blame the idiots that took out the loans that they couldn't afford and the greedy subprime lenders.

wrong wrote: <quoted text>and what do your state and federal taxes do? yeah they give that money to locals, schools, programs, etc, please please please get out from under that rock I don't disagree with you. There is also a huge population of Americans who do not pay many federal/state taxes due to their income bracket. The jobs that the illegals (the ones that work in "under the table sweeping jobs" and such) typically take, would also put them in that bracket, so, in that case, it doesn't really make a difference as far as the person him/herself goes. This is why I am a huge proponent of harsh penalties for businesses that hire illegals and/or evade taxes.

I hope this liasion helps his fellow countrymen to either leave the US and then enter legally or he reports them to immigration and does not perpetuate the problem Fitchburg has by this huge number of people from Uruguay, who mostly are here illegally. 1 English is the official language, speak it or stay at the borders until you can. 2 Any phrases [Press 1 for English ] is banned 3 Social Security will return to its original State [ If you did'nt put anything in to it,you ain't getting nothing out] 4 Welfare checks will be handed out, at the end of a 40 hour school week, after you pass a urinalysis test for drugs. 5 All illigals will get nothing free 6 You get only one elegal child all the rest you pay for, and no food stamp.

But you forgot that pesky, minor detail. People working at minimum wage are teaching their children about work ethic, playing by the rules, doing the right thing. Illegals lead by example, letting their children know that if you do something illegal, it's ok. Laws are meant for the hardworking citizens, illegals barge in and demand what is not lawfully theirs simply because they want it.

My point in bringing this up was that this is not purely a financial issue, because there are many people, who ARE citizens, who tax the system just as hard as illegals might. Again, by harshly penalizing employers who hire illegal immigrants and by tracking and enforcing the laws governing assistance programs, in addition to outright denying benefits to illegals, we can accomplish a lot to remedy these problems.
