American women are great!/ But many men like foreign women

The other forum name is depressing me - This is much better suited for intelligent conversation.

So it is all over in America for us white ladies who have no one and just hit forty.(Although I am now seriously considering imigrating to my mother's country - England - to see if British men like nice American women)

Does anyone think this trend will have a backlash and a younger generation of intelligent, caring, white American women will have more options for mates?

I am not sure. But I do know I am tired of getting generalized by a bunch of silly inmature jerks who can't tell a decent, honest woman from an apple. The kind of jerks that have no commonsense to even listen to what anyone has to say, even if it does not agree with their thoughts.

Thank you, Kyro. You know, most of these crybabies think they are a real catch. Some may be, but most are just pathetic little snots who didn't get their own way on something and are just acting out anger problems. Maby they have mommy complexes? Who knows. All I know is , they need to pull their heads out of their butts or the foriegn women will dispose of them too.

Thing is Autumn it is a very good marketing campaign. I see about 2 or 3 ads pop up on Topix with each refresh all about men dating asian women.

Men believe foreign women are better because of all the advertising. So when they meet a foreign woman they usually behave better than when they are around us. Naturally if they behave better then the women behave and are very sweet. I would be too if a man treated me with kindness.

They say it is simply a preference and for some it is, but for many the grass is greener over there because it is painted green and the advertisers have tinted there sunglasses green.

Oh and the posters that do explain without venom why they prefer foreign women have been a little too condescending. It is obvious they think they are talking down to us and I have enough brains to know when men are doing that.

I am glad they found their for want of a better word "Stepford" wives, the perfect little women to settle down with. But as I mentioned previously, their female offspring will be American and may very well come to be all they do not desire in a female now. I wonder how condescending they will be to their own daughters when the time comes?

I agree. The men expect us to adjust to every situation but still be old fashioned like our own mothers. We cannot do everything like they want, so they get pissy. They are not really sure what they want in a woman, so when we cannot live up to their expectations, they feel we are inept. We are not susposed to say anything to them when they screw up, but it is ok for them to treat us like dirt. Yes, the grass is greener, but for a little while, then lookout! Here comes some mud. If we don't do as much as men does, we are called lazy and weak. If we take care of what needs to be done, do for ourselves do as much as a man, then we are being manly. We cannot win with these guys. So it is pointless, why try. We just keep on doing what we have to do and forget them. We cannot please the majority of them, they do not want to debate anything. I want to rip the condescending ones down, like they do us. I agree with you. If a man treated me with kindness, then I would respond in kindness. I feel that a person can marry/date whomever they choose, but do not degrade a whole country if you have a few bad experiences. I hate generalization too. How would they like it if we did that to them? They would cry harder. You're right. How will they treat their own daughters? Good question.

That is funny, because a long time ago I put away most of the superficial thinking our culture tries to ingrain in us. I broadened my view and began to see handsomeness/attractiveness in many different types and statures of men. If the good personality was there, even if he wasn't adonis, even if he looked a little like Danny deVito I would not rule him out.

However, I have been ruled out because of hair and skin color from the first moment some men see me. Because they are not open to options, they believe the advertisements they believe the lies and they not only do not approach women like me, they almost run if we try to make pleasant conversation, or the try to stand and talk but are constanly scanning the sidewalks for hotter babes often asian.

They are trained very well. They cannot even concentrate a moment to find out if you are nice or not or even intelligent.

Yes, it is very bad here for a dark blond, blue eyed British looking (bump on nose :o) female. My heyday finished when Princess Di was killed.(I am not being unkind to her memory, I thought she was tremendous)

My type no longer registers as attractive in many mens' minds. And I don't see it getting any better. It is not like I can go any further and go out with smart cute asian men, because they either want Hollywood goddesses or they are pining for the loss of all the asian females.

Maybe we should work on the asian men. You know be their friend and give them tips to find the women they want whether it's another asian or some other nationality.

I'm not sure what we should do. Maby just leave them to their pious existance. Let them wallow in mud, maby? Guys are always window shopping, but when one of us does it we are called whores and such. That's just double standard crap rearing it's ugly head. They do not like intellegence. It's mostly all to do with looks. Anything we can do or have got scares them. Maby we should start looking at foriegn men as well. I think I just lucked out in my marriage. I have been married for 20 some years. But I have some single friends. I also know if I were single I would be going through the same plight as the other women of this country. I like to see a persons insides. That is what counts. Beauty fades. The men, some not all, are too hung up on this to see anything else. I don't have a preference for taller men in particullar. I wish some of the guys would ask us what we want instead of telling us. That's true. I am sure their are men from other countries that do not think like their idiotic american counterparts. I am glad there are still american men out here that do not share some of these foolish boys ideas.

I like my woman morbidly obese, by that I meant, Gilbert Grapes mom, a woman who can shade you in the summer so you're cool. And tuck you in to her flab in the winter when it's cold. Plus, you know you will never go hungry. Makes sense? I like it when they dress up and wear those pumps. Looks like someone is baking a loaf of bread in her shoe! Do not be fooled my fellow gents, there is some good poo-c under all that fat too! Sure, they sweat profusely, but once you lick'em from crack to crack a few dozen times, you will get used to the taste baby! those deep purple veins on their legs drive me nuts too! It is like a vascular masterpiece! I especially enjoy the cellulite from ankle to ass man, it is like sticking your willie in a warm container of cottage cheese! ooh-yeah! Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Anyone else agree?

I am not trying to ignore the men who like other nationalities as well, European and Hispanic.
In my neck of the woods, I just happen to see more white men hooking up with asian women than anyother group of foreign women.
European women - say Russian and Ukrainian are going out with white and black men both. And many Hispanic women are diverse in the men they see also.
Around here it has a lot to do with more than just looks it is also, education and background. Considering the unfortunate perception that white is some ultimate goal. Many black men look for white blondes including foreign women and many asian women look for white males. Unfortunately, you must impress the white males with eduation if you are Hispanic around here. I think there is some racism in men's preferences in the Pacific Northwest and I think it stems from the fact that Hispanics are still ridding themselves of the farm laborer persona.
But it is happening and changing as we move forward.
I didn't mention black women, I do not see a lot of white, asian or hispanic men going out with black women.
Again I think there is a subtle racism around here and an unspoken feeling among many men that black women, unlesss well-educated, are not worth even looking at.
I have visited many blogs by smart, nice, black women so completly frustrated with how the black men treat them when they are around and how the good ones want white women.
I think it's just so stupid to completely ignore a whole group because of ethnicity.

Yes, I am in fine mood today, because when I woked up this morning, everything around me seems to be quite in order & magnificently done. And I had very wonderful time with my fiancé last night, she already knew how to cook, not that good but still she made an effort to cook for me and you know the rest... Warm steamy night... Candle lights, cherries and wine... Perfectly romantic.. And obviously I got drunk again... Ahh.. I feel like i'm in the 9th heaven.

Ladies, you look at the situation different than men do. You might be expecting too much from men as well. It could also be that you need to take some charge in your experiences with men.
At a young age, men's brains are swimming in a sea of hormones and logic is in search of whatever works for them. Quite often a message comes up...Sorry 0 answers were found.
Older men, like me, will tell you that when they were young they wished they had just talked to their ladies more. Talk to them about everything.
Everything but when you will go to bed with them.
It is quite a surprise when you find yourself wed to a man you didn't even know. Ever hear that before ? They need to let you know their thoughts and feelings too. Little things like if they will get a job, work to improve, do they like children, can they cook or clean house, do they save any money. do they use credit, do they believe in God or know the bible, do they live by the law ? Do they shave, brush their teeth, stink, treat you like a lady, throw litter out of their car, get drunk with the boys, do they have an education, how many women have they slept with, or lived with, or been married to, what about kids. Do they like animals, pay their bills on time, eat like a hog, use profanity ?
Do you want this to be just a friendship or end up in marriage ? Is this a death due us part ?
Do either one of you want to find yourself wishing later that you had not rushed into it?
Start asking questions, you may be surprised.
If that person has even tried drugs..Run like hell.

With all those concerns in mind, it seems the life itself isn't in favor with you. If i might suggest, try to lighten up mate, maybe the life itself would lighten up to you. With all those thoughts and worries in head, you'll have no "peace of mind", and that is something that can't be bought by money and wealth. Have a wonderful time old man. I hope you can sleep well at night with all those concerns of yours.

That sounds great! I am glad that you appreciate your fiancees efforts. That makes you a REAL MAN. Most of these threads lack that anymore. Thank God for the few that are there!
