A lot of the time its due to the car. Ladies i moved to La from London and one thing i noticed is that i move less . Leave the car at home and walk more. Just like nature intended. You will loose weight.

... That, and kids don't play outside as much anymore. People also drive everywhere! Yeah plus us Americans are always in a rush busy busy busy so whe just grab something quick to eat. Idk though... your right too though.

I just went to my 30 year high school reunion and I was shocked! Most of the guys looked pretty good but man oh man, the women were HUGE!
You simply have to slow down, shop the OUTSIDE perimeter of the grocery store and cook fresh meats, veggies and fruits. Stay away from the middle freezers that offer nothing but crap processed foods. That and find a way to excersize or stay active. It's not that difficult!!!!
