I heard that interests existed but could not believe what I have seen on this site. To all ill-intented or self-interested sensationalists out there that are ignorant of humanity, I can only say to you that I feel very sorry for the what you must have seen or lived in your lifetime to have these viewpoints. Part of the incredible draw toward animal experiences that Steve and his family all embraced was the same draw that has left a world wounded by his loss. Steve had such passion and beliefs of family and animals that I know I would have loved to have just known him, as a living person...such integrity and authenticity that is inspiring. I can't tell you how many times I've watched the shows of him with his wife and children and thought what amazing parents he must have had to ...what a selfless family he must have had to... have borned passion for conservation and allow Steve to not only be son, wife, father, friend, but also to give that person the room to have been given to the world as well. So when anyone thinks that they want to see footage of his passing, the question should be asked, "How would you feel if your Fathers, Husband's, Son's, or Friends death was to be NOT ONLY VIEWED on T.V. but your future interrupted and rights violated again and again while the footage ran and reran beyond your control?" And if you still have interest in wanting to see this footage, ask for prayer and seek help. Your interests are not normal. Terry, Family, Wes, and Australia. Many people have you in our thoughts and prayers.- Connie

I feel that they should let it be up to the family to show the video of steve irin's death. if they feel that steve would lik the public to see him die doing wat he loved to do then they probably should do it. i feel so srry for his family especially for his two kids. I am always going to miss steve no matter wat happens.

I think it would be a different story if it was your mother or father that they wanted to show in their final moments over and over again. Have some feeling for his kids. Watching their father die on tv would most likely leave them screwed up at the least. Not a good idea.

Not a good idea. these morons that want to see this video don't have any feelings or respect for the family. all they want is to get their rocks off by watching somebody breathe their last breath. they don't care about two little kids that don't have a daddy anymore. i say if mrs. irwin wants to destroy the video then it should be. she seems like a decent woman and a good mom. i think she will do the right thing and not release it and chance screwing up her kids.

Now I HATE reality TV, but c'mon! http://cnn.fizz.nu/ oh I think Steve was just being Steve and not really going overboard with theatrics in his shows. He was always wide open since a young boy. And even so, remember the animal that took his life is one of the most passive creatures in the ocean and for it's tail to pierce his heart like it did is unbelieveable. It was his time to go.... I dont think his children would want to see their daddy die on film, I know I wouldnt so I think it would be macabre to publish such a thing.
