I personally feel this should not be made public simply out of respect for the family.

They should consider the family's feelings. I feel they may have law suit over this.

It's not hard to decide. How many of you that have lost a loved one would air a video of their last few minutes and death? However it happened. How much pain would feel all over again each time you saw it? We seem to have lost everything that makes us human and we are now not even equal to the animals. It is a sad proposition for humanity, I have to say if we are even arguing about airing the film.

the news said !!! >>>>

"The tapes are still being held by Queensland police, but Irwin’s family is determined to respect Steve’s last wishes and allow the footage to be broadcast.

Irwin once stated,“My number one rule is to keep that camera rolling. Even if it’s shaky or slightly out of focus, I don’t give a rip.

“Even if a big old alligator is chewing me up I want to go down and go,‘Crikey!’ just before I die. That would be the ultimate for me.”"

As we have all grown up with him. I feel he would want the tape to be rolling, But my heart says out of respect.(For his family would see it!) Play once maybe, but not over and over. And not to sell in a vidio store to make money off his death. Maybe play it once and ask people to donate to the animals, but not to sell for people to watch over and over again!

I will miss him truly, I watched his shows and it hurts that he left a wife and 2 kids behind and he died what he loved best. I think they should show the footage of him getting killed by that stingray. I do feel bad for his family and friends all in australia. Croc Hunter Rest in Peace who you will be remembered till this day.... I will always watch the shows of the crocodile hunter on animal planet.
He will also be in my heart.

what i meant they shouldn't show that footage of that stingray. Maybe that's up to his family if they want to show it and let them. I think they should but I heard he would want everyone to see what happened.

Watching a real death is not entertainment! No matter what Steve may have said in the past, I believe his family and most of his fans would not want that. A few morbid voyeurs might but there is a reason that executions are not televised--the death of a living, breathing human being is not to be taken lightly. There is a certain line that should not be crossed. I would not want to see his death on film because I want to remember his life and not his death.

I have always loved and admired this courageous wildman, who was gifted to share his excitement over even the deadliest of God's creations! He died doing EXACTLY what he LOVED, and I truly believe he would want his audience to see FIRSTHAND, how anyone CAN have an accident! It was his life's-wish, to die by one of these freak encounters...with the "cameras rolling", as he has often said. He will be greatly missed, and I'm sure, LONG remembered for his savy and zest for life. I pray for his family during this time of grief, as this wonderful teacher was much too young to leave us all. Please do not blame Discovery for Steve's death though, as he could just a easily died from a Momba bite, or a huge croc! This was WHAT HE DID for us all! Thank you Steve! D Law in VA.

From what I could see, Steve was a man that loved nature and wanted to teach us about the dangers and beauty of it. I think Steve's death would be in vain if the footage is not shown. It is another way of learning the dangers of nature.

RIP Steve xxx

Daily Horoscope for February 13

Scorpio

Resistance from others arises with regard to your efforts. You may strike trouble with in-laws or close associates and there could even be a move against you. Take the time to consult with everyone about what they want and then try to work in with them. If you have any problems with legal people or folk from overseas, tread carefully. Don't let your lifestyle betray your beliefs.
