Why are Black Woman/ White Man couples so offensive to others! Mainly Black Men

My husband is a WM and I am a BW we love when people hate on us, that shows how pathetic they are. We take pride in what we are which is an interracial couple. We enjoy seeing the faces of haiters on either side of the race spectrum. Were in love and Boone else matters. If people can't stand seeing interracial love then they belong in the 1800s. :)

Amen! I am a white male and married to a black woman and a former Army SF soldier and I say to all you people that have a problem with us being happy BRING IT!

I totally agree with "Shiki", People who are "not fans" of interracial relationships or don't aprove of them are basically bigots and racists because to say otherwise it would simply be like saying "we'll all be happy as long as you don't try to befriend me or move to my neighborhood" type of situation. I am a biracial woman who has always dated white men (simple preference) my children are all of mixed race and my family and many of my friends too. And I too have felt the disaproving look of some (not many though) people, especially here in the US.

I think interracial relationship is good white men who date black women are in the other race is good having children mixed up my father married an Indian woman I asked her one time how much Indian do I have she said a pimple on your ass jokingly but black man they tend to take the big heavyset white women that no white man would have anyway I called them a Hippel are a pig that's all black men like is a big heavyset ladies I don't like my black women too big but the short chunky ones are so much fun to tall of a black bitch is a a lot of fun there are other big boned are like a string being don't like a tall woman pay that much but with interbreeding will get all different kinds of mixed up children will interbreed some more in a couple thousand years there will be no real black people around the all be white and to be pure

No offense Donald but the term big boned was originally a medical term and it actually means someone that is 6 feet tall and taller. It does not mean overweight. As far as there being only white people that's totally wrong there will simply be humans of mixed races. If we all studied history of the world and origins of Christianity we would all see the two combined caused the world to be the way it is in regards to racism.

Asolutely the truth

Attraction isn't a choice, people have no control over whom they fall for. If people are going to be pricks for others' choices in a romantic partner they should just do the world a favor and commit suicide.

Your observation is absolutely correct. It appears that the "ideal beauty standards" (blonde hair/blue eyes or light complexion/exotic features/long hair) conveyed by our society are primarily to blame for this phenomenon. The media is constantly perpetuating the same hierarchy. This attractiveness pyramid describes in which order Caucasian men marry what race of women. At the top of the list is Caucasian women, followed by Asian women, then Latinas, and finally African American women. American culture recurrently portrays us African American women in a false and negative light, as undesirable consequently have placed us dead last on that list. Creating a type of "group think" attitude that a good percentage of people have fallen into. Those statistics may very well be wrong, and only serve as a means to control what is deemed expected, proper, and deviant. I perceive this as a form of mental slavery, once again denying people of color of certain things. Moving on, I have witnessed that when a Caucasian woman encounters a woman such as myself the outcome is confusion on their part. I am an extremely attractive, tall, toned,light skin black woman and slender but have an hour glass shape and get more attention then the white women around me, from a wide array of men. Forcing the Caucasian women to ask themselves "why am I jealous of her/feel threatened by her when she is (negative connotation) black. Those in belief that black women are desirably inferior use the inaccurate hierarchy to validate themselves and their insecurities. I have mentioned all of this to prove one simplistic point. Black women/white men couples are so offensive to others because so much misleading information states that this union is improbable, so when people encounter such couples they are quickly confounded to see that white men do not place white women on a pedestal as often as society would have you believe. In my next post on this topic I will be addressing my understanding of the black male perspective as to why these couples are so offensive. Until then

All I can say is I am white , my wife is black and we love each other. Anyone has a problem with it can walk on a different street, eat somewhere else , shop someplace else etc. Or even move to a different place because we are happy and thats what matters.
