I am an American male, slightly over 35, still in very good shape physically, mentally and spiritually, have an average income and have been raising my 14 year old son solo for over 12 years. Has it been easy? Certainly not. I've made mistakes and I take full responsibility for them. One of them was marrying someone that was content to be fat, dumb and happy from the comfort of a sofa while I took care of.....well, everything else. Thankfully, I rarely make the same mistake twice.

Both men and women bare responsibility for their life choices and should BOTH own up to them. If you are a shallow, one dimensional individual that considers only money or physique when considering a mate, you'll get exactly what you're looking for and nothing more. So don't complain when you come up short.

No one is perfect. If you can look in the mirror and be comfortable with who and what you are and the way you conduct yourself, then you are ready to explore your options. If not, then work on your self first before you curse the world and become another statistic.
