Mexican or Spanish people who consider themselves as "white", are running from the truth. The truth being rather you are caucasian,asian,west indian, native american,mexican or what ever they consider their race they are all decendents of africa which makes them all AFRICANS like it or not...

Mexicans are not white but Spaniards are. Mexico has a lot of Spanish genes in its population due to Spanish invasion several centuries ago. We tend to confuse Mexican and Spanish. So to reiterate Mexicans are not white, Spaniards are. If you see a white, light skinned or blond Mexican they have a lot of Spanish blood in them.

30% Amerindian
60% Amerindian/White (mostly Amerindian but a little white)
10% white

Though they are labelled "white hispanic" they can also be labelled Amerindian.

Black hispanics: 20% of Hispanic population, mainly located in the Caribbean,(Puerto Rico, Dominica, etc.). They have black ancestry or are considered black. Not necessarily full black.(Brazil is NOT included in this percentage because they mainly speak Portugese)

Asian Hispanic: 10% of Hispanic Pop. located in Peru and parts of south America. Hispanics that have Asian ancestry, but not necessarily full Asian.

White Hispanic: 70% of hispanic pop. located in Mexico and throughout Latin America. Comprises of mainly Amerindians with white ancestry or white people (mainly in Argentina). Amerindians themselves are put into this catergory as well.

It is important to note that it says "White hispanic" but does not literally mean "Caucasian hispanic" there is a difference. Most of the Mexicans in the united states are NOT white. Argentina has "Caucasian hispanics" also known as white hispanics.
