The Sports Thread

This is the thread for any sports topic. It can be basketball,baseball,hockey,gol f,tennis or football. Just so everyone knows I'm a Dodgers fan. And my favorite football team is the Eagles. I know everyone has their favorite teams,so I'm sure there will be some heated debates. Also women are welcome as well. I know some of you like sports,so I don't discriminate.lol My Eagles have picked up Michael Vick and I have mixed emotions about it. I don't agree with dog fighting-I think it's wrong. But he did pay his debt to society. Here's my question.

Should Vick have been allowed back in the NFL?

Hi! I am a female. Yes, I think Vick should be allowed back in. You're right. He did pay his debt to society. Don't get me wrong, I hate animal cruelty, but everyone deserves a second chance.

I agree,he has paid his debt. But there are some who believe differently. I just hope that Vick doesn't jinx the Eagles.lol I hope we have a decent season.

Hello, found ya. Um, Michael Vick. Good athlete. Dog fighter bad, bad, bad. He has been punished for this. But has he paid his debt to the animal society? Should he? Mosh on this for a bit.

Personally,I think he should do a public service announcement for the humane society. And it should be from the heart,so that animal lovers will see him in a different light. Most of the time people tend to forgive IF they believe it's sincere. But.I'll tell you,those Eagle fans really appreciated him last week. They were chanting his name! We'll see how long the love affair last!lol

I am glad he is playing well and his fans are accepting him but yes a Public Service Announcement on Animal Abuse actually have to see these abused animals might restore his image. I am not even really a fan but when I hear Micheal Vicks, I think of dog fighting and animal cruelty. Do something positive with animals, I mean fo real, and maybe he can clean his name.

Cio don't be so dull. This is a Sports Board. Talk about which sport u like.

I was on the swim team in high school. I spelled constantly of chlorine. I met one of Prom Date at a meet. He was on the opposing team. He was soooo cute but boy was he like Quantam Physics smart. That drove me batty with lust. LOL!

NASCAR! But I'm also a Cowboy fan. I don't like baseball or basketball. As for Vick......no comment.

My husband's family owns a dirt track and he is a huge Cowboy's fan.

I'm always skeptical when ANY ATHLETE apologizes only when they get caught and they have a gun to their head. But even if he is insincere, if working with the humane society and talking to kids helps even a little, it is worth it.
