If this is Indian land! why is there's no Native American president?

The Native Americans here in )klahoma are Presidents.. They run there own Nation-- Chickasaw, Choctaw just to name a couple... Hell the pres of the Chicksaw's or Gov. as he's called makes 700,000.00 a year twice what the Pres Obama makes so why the hell would they want to be president..... the problem with this country is the Republicans and Democrats....We should kick every one of them out and start over fresh... And there pay depends on our vote..

Your Gov. Bill Anoatubby of the Choctaw-Chickasaw Nation, should hang his head in shame, he makes $700,000 pa you say? Then the question is, how much does the average Choctaw/Chickasaw tribe member make???

Historically, the government has given federal money as a means to pardon the atrocities incurred upon the Natives by them. I'm not sure of the regulations for which the Natives receive money from the government, though I still would like to posit this statement: Like most federal monies, those funds come with regulations which restrict how money is freely spent. This is similar to how food stamps and TANF benifits work. This means that money may only be spent to satify one's cost of living. Any other spending outside of food, clothing, toiletries and housing utilities is strictly limited or prohibited entirely. I'm suspecting that a lot of Native Americans are experiencing this catch-22; the government pays them money but that means they can't spend it on elections or else they have to pay back all the money. That's my guess to why we don't see any Native Americans running for president. A.) because the federal system is not working; B.) because of white men outnumber minority presidential candidates; and C.) because old conservative want an equally old dinosaur (Newt Gingrich) to become president to rid the country of its civil liberties.
Regardless of the situation for Native Peoples, the presidential caucuses must go on.
