why do latinas are so attracted to white men??

I am from Chile and I am white pale skin, green eyes, tall. I do not know why people think that all people from latino america have brown skin. Chile, Urugua, Argentina and some parts of Brazil are white.

and Latina term does nor exist.

Amen!! There is no term to explain central and south Americans. Instead of saying "I like mexicans, salvadorians, brazilians, Guatemalans, girls from chile, equador, nicaragua, etc" we say we like Hispanics, or Latinas. It's to save our breath. You got that right Brenda. In South America, there's this weird (in my opinion, self-loathing) cultural phrase that a certain percentage of women of either mixed or indigenous racial bloodlines utilize when they want to explain why they only are seeking white or white-appearing (basically guys there who are outwardly white in looks, although they may have some Native ancestry somewhere down the line) husbands - "mejorar la raza" - which in English literally means to 'improve the race'. It's bizarre to hear. And in some cases , if they have offspring who end up displaying Caucasian features (basically if they look alot like their Dad), you'll hear lots of oohs and ahhs by the mother's female friends who share this mindset; if the kid turns out looking like his mother though, you won't hear too many compliments from these ladies.

I've seen a lot of relationships between white guys and latinas and from my judgement the white guys treat them like crap. I know of this one relationship between a white guy and a latina thats been going on for 2-3 years, and the white guy cheats on her with atleast 2 other girls each month. There was another relationship between a white guy that used to live in my old apt. complex who had a latin girlfriend and we would always see her with new scars or a black eye and she would tell us that she and her (white) boyfriend were "play wrestling" :/

UPDATE: the first couple I told you guys about (between the white guy and the latina thats been in a relationship for 2-3 years, and the white guy cheats on her with atleast 2 other girls each month) were just in an argument about 5 minutes ago. I was watching TV and heard some rough housing, I thought it was the people upstairs so I put my tv on mute, and it was the couple I was telling you guys about. I guess she just caught him cheating (about time). I think the girl found her bf's phone and found another girl text him some sexual stuff. Then, I heard the girl crying and her bf was saying "give me my phone you stupid b*tch". Then they were going back and forth. So while the girl was crying, she was threatening to leave and her bf said "ok i don't care, leave", but of course she stayed. Now that I think of it this might not of been the first time she caught him cheating...

Don't generalize. Not every Latina wants that. I'm mixed with some Native blood but I don't actively want my children to "look white" and that sure as hell is not why I'm with my white guy. I actually prefer dark Mestizo features. Our children could be as pale as him or very dark like my great grandma and I wouldn't care or hold one up over the other.
