McCain: Democrats put gun-owners' rights at risk

In a speech given at the National Rifle Association's annual meeting in Louisville, John McCain says that his Democratic rivals would threaten gun owners' rights.

Here is an excerpt from his address:

For more than two decades, I've opposed efforts to dismiss gun owners as some kind of fringe group unwelcome in "modern" America. The Second Amendment isn't some archaic custom that matters only to rural Americans, who find solace in firearms out of frustration with their economic circumstances. The Second Amendment is unique in the world. It guarantees an individual right to keep and bear arms. To argue anything else is to reject the clear meaning of our Founding Fathers.

I think the US needs to be seen to have change.

Obama winning the elections will show that the US is sincere is being a healing and socialy growing nation. The other candidates can't provide that image. america has to show the world it cares and that it cares about its people. Having the same old phonies wan't prove that.

Complete change is needed and Obama is that change.
