when will we wake up and ask that transylvania and banat belong to us transylvanians(of all ethnic goups)?? We were always denied the chance to choose our own destiny. in 1920 we were forced to do what others told us..now, half a century of comunist brainwash later we are so confused that we've become the most loyal servants of bucharest(transylvanian-romani an and hungarians alike. the germans are long gone, traded by ceausescu like merchendice...and with them their culture which we admire so much)
we accept every whim...we are the richest and most hard-working region but worke for wages far beneath the ones in bucharest. we accept that all our investors and producers pay taxes to the bucharest local council...we watch our beautiful land and our once developed cities receive less and less credit from the goverment...yet we refuse to claim our rights(we are tricked in expecting modernization-highways, airports, investments, welfare, developement of our cities..but nothing serious has been done so far). we put up with wallachian insults and with the label of provincials, not to mention discrimination towards small ethinc groups.
we watch our taxes and our investors taxes fill the pockets of bucharest politicians and ex-comunist characters that steel and lie and get off with it always.
we remain quiet not asking about our past; we believe every lie they've told us; we don't even ask ourselves "who are we? what was transylvania in the past?" but accept the propaganda we are still taught in school and most importantly we don't ask ourselves why were all those germans sent to baragan and why were moldovans and rroma brought in transylvania? why did ceausescu try so hard to mix the population? why does the 1991 constitution forbid all regionally-based political organizations? and why did conflicts between transylvnaian-romanians and hungarians brake out in 1990 out of the blur?? the answer is the same...to prevent us from trying achieve autonomy..TOGETHER!because that's the only way..
so now here we are...some of us so filled with propaganda crap that we believe we are latin and we hate all other nationalities in transylvania.
in stead we should realize that we(transylvanians of all ethnnic groups) have lived toghether in the past and made transylvania and banat wealthy multiethnic territories and we should see what is preventing us from living better and stop accepting the ignorance, the lies, the deceit, the corruption, the balkanization, the "rromanisation-manelizati on-orientalization", and see OUR land and OUR people as the MAIN priority.
