An Open Letter to the Buddhist World

YES BUT!!! Yes an important societal function of religion is to teach us how to get along WITHIN our communities and to lessor degree between different communities. BUT most wars between groups have been fought over religion and using religion as a motivating force, even if perhaps the real underlying reasons were resources, too many people, etc. The only way out, in my view, is to combine a relgious understanding that is broadly comparative and non-specific religion based with a more rational reality-based assessing. Certainly there have been individuals who so freed themselves. Do I think humans are as a group capable of this evolution? History is pessimistic. While I have in part drawn from Buddhism, as they say in Zen, if you meet the Buddha, Kill the Buddha! So I feel my overall approach has been to combine the best from many different sources. It is no longer any specific religion or indeed even a religion as ordinarily used, although would consider myself very religious. In conclusion, move on up from your religion whatever it may be, and there will be more peace. Sadly only a small percentage have the ability to do this. The next Buddha will have a better teaching for more people to make this shift.

The matter is that Muslims cause trouble to inhabitants of the country they move to because it is in their teaching that they should blunder and kill non Muslims. Whoever being attacked by them are taking action in self defense and not for religious reasons. The reasons Muslims attack is a religious one . So the issue is with Muhamad's followers. The same problem can be seen happening when Muslims enter India:

It is a common practice for them to migrate to invade non Muslims area through migration to propagate Islam. When they reached a certain percentage in that area they then create conflict and turmoil. After turmoil arise they then demand self rule in other people's country. This has happened in various countries and will continue to happen.

Only Evolution and Science have helped to establish peaceful societies. All the Science's, whether astronomical, biological, or mechanical have established the pure unadulterated information and progressive quality that there is provable functional evidence, and tangible elements provided for the individual. Not fantasies from books.

The Religion's, whether Buddhism, Christianity, Confusism, or Judaism are only based upon ancient fables that appeared somewhere a little over 2000 years ago, or around the time of the construction of the Pyramids somewhere around 3000 years ago.

These religions even today keep the masses of people behaving a little good , because back 2000 years ago there was no DNA, no chemical testing, and people died from eating ripe vine tamatoes off of lead metal plates. So Tamatoes became poisonous for 400 years in Europe before science eventually explained to people that you do not mix acid based vegetables and lead together. Unless you want an early coffin.

If it were left to religion and nothing else, we'd all be waking around in a cloudy haze of confusion.

If you are so advance why can't you figure out that the article above is based on the false premise that Rohingyas are victims of this riot. They are the ones that launched this riot on Arakanese , then pretend to be victim and ask Buddhist how could they do this to them being a peaceful religion. Well, the Arakanese didn't do it . They have been framed . These Rohingyas made up over 90 percent in this area, so they have been trying to cleanse the area of all non Muslims by terrorizing them with robberies, gang rape and murder for over a year. It is working best they kept on doing it.

What B.S. religion just like any human ideology has been both a boon and a curse. Science? This planet is dying, rivers being poisoned through pollution. Science is single handedly destroying millions of living brings by slowly poisoning them.

Hey Hello. Thank You for agreeing with me. Religion has been a terrible curse, those who it infects become zombies to the study and posession of it. There is no christian I have ever known that doesn't tell lie regularly for the win. Of course the only Christian I have ever known who wasn't dishonest was my father when he was alive. He really lived up to the standards, and that causes a hardship, so although I believe science has zero reasons to lie to us, and they place facts on the table there remain those who don't want the raw truth, because it shattters the illusion that they can trascend above evolution to the point to live eternally like they are God. Tough luck, it's not going to happen!
It wouldn't happen anyway, because Jesus said "Narrow the way that leadeth unto eternal life, and very few enter therein, but wide the path that leadeth to destruction, the masses enter there"
